It used to be amazing. At the beginning of 2024 they did a lot of changes and it became impossible to use this account with PayPal which I use a lot. A lot of purchases from Amazon were also bounced back because for some reason it seems like the "status" of Cuenca is no longer recognized as official. Customer support, only through WhatsApp is slow and frustrating. My brother in law for no reason got his account frozen for about a month while they were investigating his income source. All in all, made me worried and decided to close my account. It's sad, really, because it started off so good and even las year was great. It just went down.

Espero que en esta versión ya pueda cerrar mi cuenta, llevo casi dos meses intentado y nada, ya no contestan vía WhatsApp ni correo electrónico, horrible la atención a clientes.

Te han cuidado, solicité un reembolso por una transacción que no se efectuó y me tienen de vuelta en vuelta y solo me responde un bot, y todavía me cobran el primer mes de manejo de cuenta cuando hace mas de un mes que estoy esperando mi reembolso.

I have been using the app for 2 or more years and now they charge for every transfer you make and on top of all it doesnt let you make a transfer it just freezes and never makes the transaction It has been like that since last week and im considering of starting to use my other bank accounts because cuenca does not let me make a transaction

I really wanted to like this company. I actually used to recommend them! Started out amazing - simple signup, transparent fees, easy, modern! Then in less than 6 months all the following happened: random app errors, stopped accepting cash deposits without warning. Didn't work for paying CFE bills because I put in cents instead of whole pesos. Changed the deposit address. Changed the deposit address again! The worst part is the company communication. Why did you stop accepting cash deposits? Why is there no explanation to make me feel safe with my bank? Why did you change the deposit address, TWICE? Feels unstable and makes me uncomfortable trusting a company so bad at communication and opaque with my money.

La app funciona bien hasta que tenga uno que aclarar alguna duda. En ese caso, es imposible comunicarse con un asesor. Lo cual es inaceptable cuando tienen tu dinero.

You mention calling someone on WhatsApp if I have questions. The only problem is no number shown on this app.

with no explanation, transactions will be processing for hours or days at a time. also have been unexpectedly unable to withdraw cash. No helpful customer support.
