The daily wire app was fantastic in its beginning. Over time it degraded it’s business to be just like that of its competitors. It shares the exact same over done and over run celebrity gossip stories. Has little variation from any other news networks. It’s hosts now offer personalized insults to same said celebrities they use to say to “stop talking about them”. They once understood that the gossip was free advertisement and now they actively participate in the same game. They have allowed personal insults to people who do NOT deserve it. Such as Michael Knowles referring to a man at the Olympics a loser because his girlfriend proposed to him. How he would know these people so personally to pass some the judgments he made on them is fascinating. The fact the daily wire allowed such an article reflects the loss in care about quality. Michael also claimed no argument was needed for said article but that he was right because no counter argument was available to his knowledge. I really don’t care about his personal feelings. I care an argument with personalized insults was passed on innocent people with no facts. Statistics, studies to be sited or reference as to how his argument was true. At this point he could have gone on the View to share his personal views as facts. I’m not making a simple complaint. I paid for this service and supported this company because of the values it started on. I do hope this is considered in future publications so that what is still of good value is not lost to be just like everything else.

Yall can’t even play an MP3 properly. Have to listen to morning wire on podcast app instead of the paid subscription gated app. Really sad.

Content is great, but I see some new content on my phone, go to pull it on on the TV via Apple TV and the content is not even there. Or, app won’t even open / update to get recent content without rebooting Apple TV. And yes, Apple TV is updated. Would be great to be able to use my subscription on my TV.

Daily wire has one of the worst apps I’ve ever used in my entire life especially if you try to use their app on a smart tv because it’s impossible to navigate and find anything that you want to search on the app. It’s also extremely disappointing how hypocritical they are. They preached constantly about how Disney cancels people for their views and then the moment Candace Owens says one thing that Shapiro didn’t agree with they ended up firing her. Just a bunch of lying hypocrites at the daily wire. I used to fully support them until that happened. I was even willing to put up with the crappy app but I’m not supporting hypocrisy. I fully back Candace Owens over daily wire.

Love the content. App works fairly well with the glaring exception of no horizontal mode for iPad. The stand and keyboard I use locks the iPad horizontal. Please, please, make an update to address this.

The content on this app is amazing! Some of the best available. However, I can’t get any of it to play through the app even though I pay for the subscription…please fix!

…is it really that hard to add landscape support for iPad users? I like reading my morning news on my iPad from a variety of sources, including and especially DW, but DW+ is the only one that does not have support for landscape orientation on the home page. It makes the app impossible to use in my keyboard stand.

Very convenient app for the DailyWire, which is a great resource for news. I'd give the App 5 stars, but for the fact that the iPad app only has portrait view. As someone with an iPad Pro and keyboard case, my default orientation is landscape. It's an annoyance to have to turn the setup on the side.

Downloaded the app on our TV, but nothing actually appears on the screen. Decided to play it on the phone instead and cast it to the TV. A little clunky, but works. Until about 15 minutes in when the phone also randomly starts playing the audio at the same time. I can pause it on the phone and the video will continue playing casted on the TV. Just annoying. Randomly the next day (I haven’t even touched the daily wire app yet), the audio will start playing again from the phone. Strange.

The app works and the content is really top notch. My biggest complaint is that the iPad app does not rotate horizontally. I generally use the app with my iPad on my desk and having to navigate to the content I want sideways is really annoying. If the devs can also update their live stream to VOD process, that’d be warranted to. Currently if I’m watching a podcast that is live, but from the beginning when the podcast is at, say 30 minutes, the video stream will stop when the podcast is over. I then have to wait to watch the rest of the show until it gets posted as a VOD. Small annoyances, not breaking, but would really improve the experience.
