Darkest Dungeon this is not.
So the aesthetics are taken straight from Darkest Dungeon with some pop culture references thrown in to the dialogue. Core afk part is mindless in that usual Idle game way but the surrounding activities are terrible. The scale in such a way that while you sometimes get lucky and can have a good run, most of the time no matter how much you level the enemies beat you to a pulp. This is especially clear in the labyrinth and it's also a money hole for the premium currency, I don't think it's poor design, just blatant greed and an attempt to suck all your money out.
