The diet has been linked to a lower risk of type 2 diabetes. Some studies demonstrate that it can improve insulin resistance as well.
- Decreases heart disease risk: 
In one recent review in women, following a DASH-like diet was associated with a 20% lower risk of heart disease and a 29% lower risk of stroke.

Can’t access without paid subscription

Sure the download of the app is free but that’s where it stops. You can choose to not have a subscription but you can’t see any of the recipes (when you click on it, it brings up the subscription sign-up) and there are no options to track nutritional values of foods/recipes, food groups, etc. Such a scam to say it’s free but then force the subscription for access. Just make it cost money upfront so people don’t bother with it!

Can’t even try it without paying—“free trial“ charges immediately. Links to info, like privacy policy, are broken. Meal plan is very low calorie and is skipping some meals! Not at all for DASH blood pressure diet.

Good ideas for meal planning but there is no accurate reporting of calorie count and serving sizes seem to be just plain made up. Cannot connect with help link to ask so I’ll move on after my five day free trial which, by the way, I was charged $4.99 for!

This app tries to make Dash meal planning and preparing simple. There are six sets of meals for five days that you prepare on the weekend. You get the shopping list which has everything you need including pans and meal savers. And, you get the recipes which look very reasonable with decent serving sizes.
