My Library Problem

Reallysuck app on

Australia

The My Library tab of the app is not working, it always says Fail to load

Got potential, but buggy and limited

CitizenLoud on

The approach to learning, for a data science app, doesn’t seem to align with best practice. I’ve done two courses so far and they’ve literally all been 4-5 minute video lectures and 1-3 exercises. This isn’t ideal. Doubly so, when the exercises simply don’t load correctly and there’s no option in the app to simply say ‘exercise didn’t load’. While im enjoying learning new things, I also feel my belief that data scientists lack a sense of practical utility is being strongly reinforced.

Not for beginners

Jo11111 on

If you are 100% beginner to programming I highly recommend that you NOT install this app. It claims to help you learn basics but it doesn’t. The lessons are painfully unclear, explain nothing, and then expects you to solve very much intermediate level coding right from the start. It’s even unclean where it wants you to write the code, the interface is messy and hard to navigate. I don’t doubt that this app is good at higher levels but for a bare bones beginner, it does not help at all. I would suggest going with the Mimo app if you are new to coding.

Great learning resource

I’m a complete beginner and this has been super accessible and great

Simple, not intimidating, mobile friendly

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I don’t always want to be sitting at my computer to learn. Especially after working a 10 hours on a laptop. I just want to take a bath and tinker on my phone with a bit of SQL. This app knows that is not too much to ask. Thanks team!

Amazing service

The app isn’t perfect, but it keeps getting better and service overall is amazing. Helped me through a post graduate certificate in data.

I love DataCamp and the app allows you to practice what you have learnt while you are commuting or don’t have immediate access to a laptop or PC. It is awesome and I highly recommend it.
