I like the simplicity of the app while also having access to all my calendars. There’s a few bugs as has been mentioned in another review, but nothing show stopping for me. I’ve been looking for a good looking calendar app for ages and while it’s not a task manager really, I normally add my tasks to calendar events anyway, so works for me. Fix the 2 bugs that have been noted and it would be 5 stars for me!

Great idea but simple aspects are overlooked. If I highlight a single day on “month view” it will say, for example, Wednesday April 5th. If I then selected April 11th, it will still say Wednesday. Simple fix but they haven’t noticed/done anything about it. This is compounded by the fact that on monthly view you cannot see which day of the week it is. I wish the weeks started on Monday rather than Sunday. Mistakes could easily be made. Otherwise, the app seems okay. I like the minimal aspect and the monthly view.

I really want to love this app it’s beautiful but I want to be able to order my tasks, just to be able to drag tasks within a day to reorder them to my liking ! Otherwise I am enjoying using it so far.

Love how this app looks but it needs to have an option to change the default maps that it uses to open calendar entries with addresses. It would be worth the high price if this was implemented

I really wanted to like this app. It is beautiful! So sleek and widgets are nice. But I just can't get over the fact that it's not a very functional integration with other calendars and therefore, not worthwhile for me to keep paying for. I can't see who else is on a synced calendar invite. I can't respond to any calendar invites. if I setup an event, even though it's linked to Gmail or whatever, you can't invite anyone. So I need to go into the Google calendar app separately, setup the invite, then it will show up. I don't know that I understand what the "spaces" feature is used for, but these seem integral to the app when using it. Setting up recurring tasks is not very intuitive. Setting up a task that just says "Todo" isn't either. I'm not actually sure if I can setup a recurring task that isn't tied to a time (e.g., change sheets every other Tuesday). Tasks don't roll between days, they just go away if you don't do them. Anyway, it is really beautiful - they did get that right. If you manage your calendar entirely from a computer and you're just using this as a one way communication of your next events, this is sufficient. I was just too frustrated with my few weeks of trying to adopt it entirely, so I'm just going back to boring/uglier Google.

such a beautiful and minamillistic calendar!! intuitive and beautiful UI! only suggestion - maybe heatmap could include different space colours i.e. if you had one space task that was yellow and another that was blue on the same day, the heatmap would show up as green? also being able to change the accent colour (i.e. changing the pink to purple or blue to match the rest of my phone)

Something which I feel would add more value to Dawn is dragging and dropping tasks. For example, drag and drop tasks to different dates / drag and drop tasks on a single date in order of priority (tasks which don’t have times set to them).

I like this app but for some reason I don’t get notifications of the synced reminders on my iPhone, which is a bit strange. I’ve contacted the developer but they’ve failed to reply, so as the free trial is drawing to an end i doubt i’ll be paying for a subscription given that it doesn’t do what i need it to. Shame really cos it is a very nice, useful app, hence the 4 stars.

Oh dear! Can’t sync calendar without paying and the cost is ridiculous for what I could see. You can get much better and established calendars for a lot less than this. If only I could have tried it out fully for a week or two before hitting the paywall it may have helped. Sorry, but it needs a change in business model before I come and look at this again.

Absolutely beautiful, top-tier UI and design. Replaced the default Calendar app and seems to have made me more conscious with my time. HOWEVER, the app is something like £28.99 lifetime purchase. As much as I would love to support the creator, this is stupidly expensive and not worth the cost at all as a Calandar app. Therefore, I will likely be pausing the app following the free trial. I hope to one day return and purchase the lifetime product for a more reasonable cost...
