The only thing I wish I this app had is one time tasks.
There are days where I do something that isn’t a part of my daily routine but it’s still a big task, and I wish I had the option to choose what that thing was in a separate list instead of talking about it in the notes.
ADHD and Brain Win
I am someone who struggles to connect what I feel with what I have been doing in my life. So this is a great way for me to fully customize this app to my needs and feelings. Honestly I'm in love with everything about this app. The customizing can be overwhelming so my suggestion is to take it slow. Use the app as is for a week or so, slowing customize it to your needs.
Data Privacy / Advertisements
I saw a small notification on an icon in the app today and tapped on it. I was hoping it was a new feature but I was sad to see a BetterHealth advertisement. I pay for premium so that I *don’t* have to see ads. To top it off, BetterHealth has been sharing (selling) users data with Facebook, Snapchat, and other social media platforms. Is Daylio doing the same? If not, why do you have a partnership with BetterHealth? And why are they advertising to me as a paid subscriber?
I don’t mean to be difficult, but this is a big enough issue to make me consider leaving the app. Mental health privacy and not being advertised to on a *paid* service are both highly important to me. I’ve been a Daylio premium subscriber for over a year and LOVE the app & have even convinced a few of my friends to join it, but this is likely a dealbreaker for me and it should be for you too if you value your data privacy and not being advertised to

wonderful app, i love it so much!
i've been using daylio for just under a year, and it has honestly helped me so so much with my mental health. having severe depressive disorder (very bad depression), anxiety, separation anxiety, ocd, adhd, ptsd and mild anorexia really adds up to a lot of stress, compressed feelings and pain that can't always be expressed to anyone or related to. (hopefully nobody has to deal with this as well, praying for you if you do.) but on the real, this app has helped me so much in understanding myself and my own emotions, and being able to connect the dots as to why and/or where a certain feeling happened. it is wonderful for self growth and slowly coming to be at peace with yourself. i highly recommend it for anyone and everyone; you don't need a mental health disorder to benefit from this app. i write an entry every night and check off all the activities and goals i completed in the day. it helps me connect with myself and understand myself better and i think everyone should try it out for at least a couple days (maybe even a week😁). but overall i give it an 11/10 rating if i could give more than five stars i would. love to all🥰
