The place where creativity comes to die?
The fascinating thing about Design Home is that despite the endless possibilities to create unique designs with the furniture available, the majority of the players (with the support of the game) have created a totally styleless sphere, where you have to fit in to that narrow box to get votes on your design. The result is that every so-called «top design» 5 stars, looks excactly the same. It’s both tragic and comical how the sheep reign in this app. Furthermore the players that get top scores consistently design spaces that I would define as shabby chic without the chic and just bad taste. It just reeks of conform people who are afraid to use an ounce of creativity. They therefore only use the themed furniture, art etc. that’s pushed by Design Home (which I again suspect is chosen to meet the style of what seems to be a majority of the players. An endless ring of bad taste in other Words) My suspicion is that the majority of the players are quite conservative housewives from the states that lacks the possibility of independent thinking. So be warned, if you’re not able to withstand the need to get positive feedback on your designs from the mob, and thus conform to the sheep, this app is not for you. I however find great joy in creating my own designs knowing that each time I get high scores (which luckily is often), I have succesfully won over this terrorreign of extremely bad taste.

Jeg synes det er kjedelig fordi man bare for lov til å bruke en ting fem ganger, og alt koster så mye penger. Jeg må vente en hel dag før jeg får nye penger og diamanter. Og på noen av de stedene man skal designe må man ha en bestemt type møbel. Ikke last ned appen hvis du ikke vil betale for møbler!!!!!😱 Mina 11 år

It´s impossible to sort the selection of furniture to look for the criteria you want, besides, the scrolling window is so small that you get no sense of overview, and some of the patterned furniture looks so blurry when you place them that they are useless.
Fon for Design Hoobiest
It’s possible to play daily on a limited bases without investing too much money for Diamonds. I enjoy seeing the new products which are actually available on the market. Lots of choices of room types styles. I play daily as a quick wind down at the end of my hectic days. No stress, no violence, no blood. Just peaceful calm day dreaming.

Great game, lousy money system
You have to re-purchase items you have already bought! And nowhere in the game does it tell you this… The game is great, the app’s design and overall interactions work flawlessly, but as many people state, the diamonds (and money) are just too expensive and difficult to come by. The surveys take ages, and leave you with very little in return. Customer support does not respond at all. Kudos to the art team and game developers, they have done a magnificent job, but whoever runs the game and decides how the money system work… congratulations, you have ruined the game!
Upgrade
After the last upgrade the app won’t load. This has happened before with previous upgrades as well.
