Diarly: Mein Tagebuch, Journal

Really like this app and all its features. One of the standout aspects is the ease of making external backups. However, there is one drawback: media files are not encrypted. One feature I would love to see in a future version is an AI-powered search. For example, being able to ask, “When was the last time I did/felt/visited X?” or “How often have I Y in the last 90 days?” would greatly enhance the app’s usability and functionality. I hope the developers consider adding this soon.

Wer ein gutes Tagebuch führen möchte, muss sich diese App holen. Ich finde es halt traurig das man für ein Passwort Premium braucht.

Ich finde es unendlich schade, dass es keine ordentlichen Tagebuch-Apps gibt. Diese hier ist optisch toll gestaltet und hat viele brauchbare Funktionen. Leider ist Essenzielles ins Kostenpflichtige gewandert. Würden mich die Pro-Features einmalig 15, 20 oder 30 Euro kosten, ich würde es nehmen. Aber ich schließe kein Abo ab, damit ich auch ein Passwort nutzen kann. Zumal ich unter „Tagebuch“ eine Reihe sehr intimer Einträge verstehe. Davon abgesehen, dass auch die Synchronisation zwischen der Desktop- und der mobilen Variante nur ins Abo fällt. (Gut, zur Not hat man es nur auf einem Gerät.)

I love that you can customize the style. The problem with digital is that it isn’t as personal as a physical journal. The custom styles allows you to add your own character and connection to the digital journal. so many amazing features and I can’t think of any that are missing. I also love the emoji signifiers.

I needed a lockable option as I’ve been just using notes before now. This is a great app where all my entries are protected. And I’m journaling a lot more now. I love that I can use it on all of my devices so I’m always in reach of my ability to journal. Love the customization tools as well!

I have imported my entries smoothly into Diarly from another app and have tweaked my formatting. There are so many additional options I can do to my templates which will make journaling more enjoyable. I am so excited to continue my journaling on Diarly. My only complaint is that the user interface could be designed better and I’m looking forward to the future updates.

Not available to try app

I don’t write reviews but this app warrants one. Journaling has always been hard for me, even with professional help it feels like a nightmare. But for some reason this app does the opposite. It’s a basic app; lets you make journal entries, creat lists, has a calendar and app, even a gallery. It doesn’t harass you with adds constantly, or pop ups for subscriptions. The subscription is a nice as it adds more verity and more functions but it’s not a deal breaker. I prefer the free version as I can just write my heart out, and it’s helped me a lot in the two weeks I’ve used it. If you’re looking for a sign about trying this app, this is it. Just try it out and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
