Works great but
The App works as advertised, even has an audible dish align function. If they added an elevation function in the compass section it would get a five.

Description
Dish Align is a simple yet powerful app for alignment of the satellite dish. It allows you to select exact location of the dish and requested satellite, them shows you you can align the dish to get proper signals.
It has a built-in compass specially designed to simulate the dish as your iPhone, so you will get the exact direction of the dish to be pointed.
As of version 1.2, Dish Align supports dynamic satellite list. If changes need to be done to satellite list or a satellite positioned incorrectly, drop us a line in Feedback section.
There is a small ad at the bottom of page which keeps the production going and make the app free. However if you don't like it, upgrade to No Ad version and all advertisements will be gone.

Found the satellite, easy to use . I used this with the phone to get the angle of the dish. Great selection of satellites. Would use this again . Recommended
Perfect
Does exactly what it says.
Signals set but not connected
I use this app in Sanand 382110 for Airtel DTH for satellite SES7. Signals shown in app but set top box not connected with satellite.
App is not ready for market..
Well I must admit it actually worked for a minute or two, but after wanting recalibration the settings were way off, and never came back with any accuracy. Intelsat 19 at 166, is not known by that name in the list. I would love to see this app debugged, has potential, but not yet..
Useful
Don't give up your squealer, this won't help you fine tune the pointing. Good effort for initial pointing, as it works OK but some bugs if you're in the southern hemisphere. Polarization offset on the graphic is in the wrong direction for southern hemisphere locations. The azimuth graphic on dish plan view is 180 degrees out for southern hemi use. Text looks correct. Has problems on iPad with landscape display, reluctant to let go of portrait mode. I'd like to see manual entry of lat/long for pre-installation planning (still using Dishpointer for that.)

Purchased this app and still Getting advertising, rip off Guys you can only have it one way, user pays(purchase) or advertising. Until you work it out won't buy any of your apps or recommend
Easy to use
Great App for finding FTA Satellites, all you need to know is the "Type of Satellite" you want and it calculates all the angles for your dish. It even includes a Compass. The icons are at the bottom right of the display screen...
