Foreigners not welcome
As with any health-related app, you’ll go through a lot of information and disclosures. This is OK, but good luck if you don’t speak fluent German. There’s no support in other languages (French and Italian support is meant to be used to look for doctors in those countries), so if you’re still on your first months here you’ll find yourself going through Mendes without understanding what you’re doing. Newly arrived immigrants? Either go back home or learn German faster. Since you can’t copy the text on the app you also can’t use translation apps to see what you’re clicking on. What’s ironic is that the app brags you can find English speaking doctors there - but to find them, again, you need to speak German to type the specialty name into the search bar in German, which kind of beats the purpose. It also keeps logging out by itself so you have to constantly login again.
