Dollarbird - Budget Calendar

Even though l paid to have several calendars it doeant allow me to open new calendars and asks me to subscribe and when l click it says l have a subscription..l have checked my bank account the amount has gone..so..either do a full refund or make this work otherwise this app is useless. Plus there is bo way to ask for help. Only FAQ and feedback. But l need personal support to fix this issue. Especially when u pay for an app!!! Useless at this point! Def bot reccomending!!!

Neat concept. But can only put in 3 “transactions” when you first sign on then have to pay a subscription. Other budgeting apps come free so this is a miss.

With other apps having features like widgets, this app needs updating to justify paying the monthly subscription for me now. Other apps have caught up with it. Otherwise this app is pretty good. Needs IOS 18.0.1 update. Screen becomes unresponsive when trying to enter transactions.

This app does what I want it to and that’s help me forecast my cash flow. I upgrade so the version I have has more features than the basic app. I can’t give it 5 stars because I’ve found some annoying quirks in this recurring error the app makes. It seems that sometimes when I click a date, the calendar will jump forward a few months but it does not change the month displayed. 😳🙄. Annoying but I roll with it. 🤷‍♀️

This app has made me be debt free! It has helped me do better at budgeting. I’ve recommended this app to lots of my friends!

*Update* I’m disappointed they have not been able to fix the glitches. Frequently, when looking out a few months or more, the months show a brief balance before switching to show completely different balances. It’s as tough it’s perpetually trying to catch ch up from some changed entry but, for the life of me, I can never figure out which entry is causing the glitch. It always starts at 3 to 4 months out and carry’s through ever month beyond. It is extremely frustrating when trying to plan by quarter. I’m knocking one star because this has been an on and off issue for years now. *** I can’t believe how hard it is to find a calendar based budget app that works. I like that I don’t have to link my bank accounts. I pay full price and will continue to do so. The rest of my comments are in hopes the developer will make improvements. It does act “glitchy” and recently actually crashes when entering/moving a lot of transactions. It seems slow to update each transaction and I often find myself waiting for it to catch up, even with fast Wi-Fi. I find the search feature notion to be clunky. Sometimes it works but sometimes it only pulls up confirmed transactions instead of allowing me to see other planned transactions. It’s hard to get used to the fact that upcoming expenses are reflected in balance forecast but today’s expenses are not reflected until they are confirmed. The following are just wishes, but may not be for everyone: I also wish there was a way to track various “sinking fund” balances for cash savings (like the envelope system). And I wish the overall balance could be split to reflect the 3 different bank accounts I use.

I lived by this app forever . It was amazing and I referred multiple people. They just did an update with “auto forecast” which can’t be turned off. It is now impossible to see what you’re account will ACTUALLY look like since it auto calculates.

This app has saved me so many times when I’ve struggled to budget. Seeing my finances spelled out on a calendar and being able to keep track of payments has been so helpful and relieves my stress. Highly recommend for anyone who struggles with managing their $ or anyone who’s always anxious about their budgeting.

I will say while I’ve been a long time user and subscriber, I’m rethinking it. Every time I reopen my app and log a transaction it asks for access to all my photos. Why does a financial app need this? Invasion of privacy. I selected limit photos because there’s no reason to need all access. It’s very unpleasant and suspicious. Please remove these annoying requests that I have to dismiss every single time I open it. This has only been a thing recently. It did not used to behave this way - frustrating as heck.

Cancelling subscription. App wont connect and doesnt work offline.
