Dollarbird Reviews

Perfect for managing budget

Olciac113674 on

Really enjoy this app! It allows me to see how much money I will have spare at the end of the month and therefore I can plan how much I want to spend on entertainment and how much I want to save up. It allows repeated payments so after first month, once I put all bills and typical weekly spendings in, not much input is required to keep track of your balance. I also love that it doesn't connect to my bank account and it is just a simple calculation showed in a calendar view.

Helps me keep track of my finances really well. Love that I can budget and track for months

A nice app but some concerns

Sawyer Latte on

United Kingdom

Really like the calendar format, but have some concerns about the longevity. Looks like the app was redesigned from the ground up a while back but still hasn’t added in some features from past versions. I also personally keep deleting entries by mistake (intuition suggests I should be able to switch days by swiping, but it deletes). No way I can see to get my entries back! Otherwise I love it, but reluctant to place all my expense tracking in the tool for the above reasons.

Amazing app

Makes keeping track of finances effortless, I always know what disposable income I have.

Fantastic for Budgets!

Caradam on

I have a strict budget every month to adhere too. Usually I would put what I spend in my notes but this becomes cluttered and unorganised. This app is fantastic for seeing what you've spent, when and what on and gives a great overview of the money I've spent. Would highly recommend to anyone on a budget or just wanting to see what they spend their monies on!

Login Pain

The_Real_Jetbootjack on

United Kingdom

At least once a day on any of my devices this app pops up the message requiring me to re enter my password with some cheery oh that’s a bummer text. Having switched from the old, non networked app, which always worked every time this really is disappointing. It also runs like a dog if the network connection is slow - overall a fairly miserable experience sadly...

Really simple

Looks great. Really simple. And I like the calendar approach. One suggestion: make use of iPhone’s 3D Touch to quickly enter a transaction.

Monthly view

hasham123456789 on

In the previous version of the app, one could see the overall change in balance by month on one simple screen. It seems as though I have to work this out manually now. Will you be looking at bringing this functionality back?

Still Great but Lacking in Areas

Joshkrz on

United Kingdom

This update looks great and has some nice features, but the positioning of some menus and buttons are confusing and not as clear as the classic version. Not being able to sync to my bank account is a deal breaker for me though I'm afraid as it just takes too long to manually enter every transaction. Overall though it's a step in the right direction and it's nice to finally see an update for Dollarbird.
