The hidden fees here are absolutely insane. $55 for a $35 order and you only find out at checkout, and that doesn't even include delivery. I thought AirBnB was bad, but this takes it one step further.

Refund refusal
I got hair in my chicken and got refused a refund with photo proof without further explanation why I left the app. I was a good member with the dasher pass for months until this incident that disgusted me. They won’t issues always refunds even with proof so not worth it compared to ubereats that includes their uber app with the same subscription

Overall not bad an app if you are from the right country.
I sit in Whistler with COVID and getting food delivered is kind of essential. However, there is just doorDash or die of hunger. Unfortunately, if your mobile phone is not from one of a very odd choice of European countries including Germany, Italy, or Romania. You can not register your phone. What is the problem in just putting in all countries in the world in? As a Swiss I am just glad I know someone from US which number I could abuse. Completely unnecessary.
Censors negative reviews of restaurants
Unfortunately I left a review for a local restaurant that gets almost every order wrong in some way. DoorDash censored my review, sent me an email about and linked me to a page that supposedly had review guidelines but didn’t. And didn’t let me edit my review afterwards. No surprise for most of the delivery companies that scam users and restaurants out of money. They will probably figure a way to censor this review too. DoorDash kept the money from a cancelled order Instead of giving it to the restaurant that I had ordered from in the past.

DoorDash is stealing your money By charging your card without you even ordering or in your cart and it doesn’t also not allow you to delete your debit card
