I checked this out after getting sick of the sounds coming out of AnimoogZ. After a while you can tell the presets kinda sound the same. DRC is so refreshing. The sounds are crisp and lush and there are so many presets and they all sound different.
Initially I passed on this synth because it doesn't say MPE compatible in the features. Just found out that it has been for YEARS. This synth is special. The filter is raw and beautifully flawed. The modulation options are unique and deep enough to get you into some wild territory. DRC easily slips between experimental and iconic sounds making it a workhorse. All while being simple and clear to program ON LITERALLY ANY PLATFORM. DRC is a perfect choice for anyone, but especially if you are new and interested in synth programming then wow. Great presets, HUNDREDS of easy clear tutorials. It's easy to see how much the developers also love this synth. Thank you! 💕

I just bought all of the IAP's because this synth sounds so fantabulous. Its a beauty of a synth. It sounds sooo good! Its so reasonably priced as well so I feel that you get a lot of bang for for your buck here. Try it out and hear for yourself-this Synth is a real beaut. Keep it up and Well done DEV!!!
In my opinion, a big part of the value of DRC (and FRMS) is their ongoing development seriously good preset packs. I’m not someone with a lot of time for sound design, so I really appreciate they’ve got folks who are really good at this. Lots of great options ranging from full-bodied, classic sounds to noises from all across the frequency spectrum. And you can tweak from there. Great support.
DRC has quickly become one of my favourite apps to make music with. It’s so easy to use, straight forward, yet incredible sonic possibilities. I particularly like the arpeggiator. Once you get DRC you’ll want FRMS as well! Would also like to thank the developer for being so responsive and active in the iOS music community… it is very appreciated!
Gorgeous filters, nice sound, handy features. The chord picker (I guess you would call it) and MIDI learn also make this pretty much a workhorse.
There are quite a few excellent synths for IOS and way more lousy ones. This baby is high on the excellent list. The cool thing is that you can try it for free before buying. If you do so, you will be hooked. Enjoy this synth. It's easy to use and powerful. We are lucky to have music making tools that rival laptop ones and cost a fraction of the latter. Take advantage
It's listed as free but last night it gave me an option to unlock or wait few seconds to use as is, that's forcing in-app or at least preventing me from uninterrupted use. I might have to ask Apple but I think it shouldn't be listed as free if I can't keep using it uninterrupted.
Great stuff in all respects, though iPad versions seem to be a way better price than desktop versions... I’ll stick with iOS versions myself...
