DrinkControl is your alcohol consumption diary, helping you to keep track of what you drink and when to help keep yourself accountable — a vital motivation in making changes like drinking less often, opting for lighter drinks, or going for a sober streak.
Instead of considering our consumption in alcohol units (also known as standard drinks) or grams of pure alcohol (the basis of moderate drinking guidelines), we simply consume our beer, wine and spirits in their available containers without giving them a second thought. Simple and useful
The app lets you define goals / limits and then makes it easy to track your behavior. Very simple interface and functionality, very helpful. Anyone who wants to understand and control their drinking habit should give it a try.
Time to lose the pandemic weight
Have been using drink control for years now. I cut my consumption to ⅓ and lost weight. Then COVID hit and drank every day… so now it’s time to get back to low, controlled drinking… and lose all this weight and save some money! Love the dry days addition!!!
Great for cash, calorie counting
And the ability to mark “dry days” is good as well for those who wish to abstain rather than mitigate. The app seems to be continually updated as well, which is great.
Drink control helps me!
I drink much less alcohol now, almost no alcohol.
Use this app, no others
Best app I’ve found for this purpose but sometimes it doesn’t let me add a drink for the same day. I also don’t like that I can’t just specify the exact ABV and volume. Update: Much thanks to the developer showing me how to do custom Volume / ABV.
Drink Control has been instrumental for me
I am in my 50s and was getting concerned that I had slowly drifted into drinking too much, both due the week (one glass of wine turns into 3) and on weekends when I would get together with friends and have 4, 5, 6 or more drinks. Drink Control has been great for me - I am honest with it, and it helps me think before I drink. I also showed it to my physician at my annual physical and got a great, objective opinion along with great advice. It’s without question one of the most valuable apps on my phone and will certainly contribute to my long term health and well being.
Great interface and info
This app is so helpful. I'm using the free version and it has all of the information I need. It took me a little bit to get used to the fact that it tracks the previous seven days, and doesn't reset on a particular day of the week. But now it makes sense. It definitely helps me track my drinking and keep things under control. I'm drinking less now that I'm using it.
