This app works brilliantly. Ignore other reviews; there is a setting that allows you to switch between current and drive modes. Pretty much every ride gets checked for weather I’m likely to encounter enroute. I’ve used it for about a year and it’s proven to be accurate and really helpful, especially when choosing when to depart to avoid the rain.
Downloaded to plan my drive at the time of Storm Eunice and was initially happy that I could see wind speeds on route according to time of departure. Then later the facility of setting different times of departure vanished and only left me with the option of the current hour. This really diminishes the usefulness of the App. A further frustration is the App doesn’t recognise Uk postcodes - and only allows town name destinations . Planning a trip to London - shows a route into the city which is not necessarily the one you want to be taking
