great app with a lot control and options. but... cons: - logs (detail) are not available via app. (yes i activate this incl a ssd for storage) for example: when you get a scurity notification that your router block somthing. Details about this notification is nowhere to find on the app. is this on purpose? - access (SRM) to the router change a lot after you use this app. ok.. i i'm not a expert but.. it is a bit confusing to set rules for limit SRM access (only via 1 wlan). i try to set it up.. but i got a warning that i lose access. more guidance for that would be nice. - lan port rules/options are not to find via app. only port live activities/log are visible. maybe i overlooked this one... via web interface access is this easy to find. - no Darkmode option in the app. This would be a really nice.. everytime i got a notification it is a pain to look at the white interface. so pls pls pls make a darkmode option 🙏😘 cheers

WLAN Zeitplan erstellen von 6Uhr morgens bis 1Uhr nachts nicht möglich. Die Einschaltzeit muss angebl. vor der Ausschaltzeit liegen... Aber ansonsten bin ich zufrieden mit der App.

Had bad expirience with the Mesh System but slowely regaining trust after a complete reinstallation... The App itself is very useful and easy. All the important Settings are quickly to set from anywhere! There is nothing like this in the Market!

Gut wenn man in der Reichweite des Routers steht, aber nur zum Beobachten. Keinen vollen Zugriff auf die Einstellungen. Wenn man aber von Außen auf dem Routers zugreifen will, unmöglich. Vom Browser wird man eingeladen auf die App zu gehen, damit ist aber keine Verbindung möglich (auch über Quickconnect).

Software wird ständig weiterentwickelt. Router läuft sehr stabil für drei Haushalte. Typisch Synology 👍

Eine gute 1.0 Version. Es fehlen noch einige Funktionen, aber die wichtigsten sind vorhanden.

It seems admin has to be in the same wifi network to control the settings.

Just started using this app and it works fine for some actions, but there’s a few notable shortcomings: 1. Notifications of domains blocked by safe access filters don’t mention which device was trying to access the domain—which is critical info I need to contact the user(s) affected. 2. I am annoyed at getting “blocked” notifications for domains I manually added to a filter block list. If I manually block a domain, I don’t want to keep hearing about it, so i want the app to avoid sending notifications about explicitly blocked domains.

I purchased a synology router based on high reviews for route with parental controls and the selling point that it is easy to set up. The app froze multiple times during the setup process, causing me to need to relaunch it. I made it through the setup wizard and the router is connected and working (I am using it now), but the app doesn’t recognize the connection. This router is useless to me if I can’t access the parental controls through the app. I am waiting for tech support and am considering returning the router if they aren’t able to resolve the issue.
