Is Dynamic Runner legit?
🤔 The Dynamic Runner app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I’ve been a runner for about 15 years and have typical runner knee issues. I’ve known I needed to do strength work and stretching but have never followed through. This app makes it so easy to just follow along and do the exercises. I’m working through the knee rehab program and also using the warm up and stretching videos. Not having to think about what I’m going to do has made alll the difference. I just do what Coach tells me and I’m good to go. I highly recommend this app!!
Loved it until the most recent update
Loved this app until the most recent update. Getting it into landscape view is super glitchy and will only allow it in full screen while watching videos. Videos stopped auto-marking themselves as complete and now I either have to do it myself or restart the app and then sometimes it’s marked as complete. Otherwise, great content. Just unfortunate it went backwards in usability.
Newest Update is not Good
I like the app and the exercises, but I just wanted to let the developers know that the new update has caused some issues. It no longer marks exercises as completed so I need to try and remember what I did the day before. I use the app on my iPad and it also turns the wrong way (I use my iPad kind of like a laptop) unless I make the video the entire screen. I’d really like to see these things fixed!
Really Impressed with this App!
I stumbled on this app after having a really bad hip injury that stopped me from doing what I love to do, run. I’ve been running for 20+ years so this was devastating. The pain was so bad, I couldn’t walk without a limp (I was diagnosed with a hip impingement). There’s a lot of noise in the running community (especially online) about when to strength train, how to strength train, what to do, etc. Everyone has a program, so it’s hard to figure out what is best. I have found that the best strength plan is the one you will do consistently. That’s why I love “Dynamic Runner.” It has silenced all of the noise & its programs are very easy to follow. I started with the free 7-day-trial & after that, decided to purchase. There are many different programs including one specifically for hip injury. I started doing that & my hip pain started to dissipate & vanished. I then started to incorporate the strength training program & now alternate between the 2, one for injury prevention & one for overall strength. The app is intuitive & the instructor, Alisha, is easy to follow. The workouts are well paced & she doesn’t rush through movements. Her form cues are easy to understand & I actually look forward to doing it. Am I going to get ripped from it? No. Am I getting what I need to prevent injury as a runner? Yes! I’m currently training for Boston & I’m not too tired to add this in. I’m also not too sore after to where it impacts my run. It’s perfect!
Requires calling by phone to cancel. Beware.
Signed up for 7 day trial. Used for a month. Tried cancelling through apple and it does t show up. Requires multiple steps and logging in onlin, sending email, and callling. Shady.
Love Dynamic Runner!
I’ve been a runner for 40 years and a coach for 15. I really love this app; it helps me stay accountable and not forget to do the little things that, if neglected, can lead to big problems! After 40 years of running, I’ve learned a lot, but this app was able to teach me a few new things as well as remind me of many others. It’s easy to use and I actually look forward to following along each day.
Great Tool for Improving Your Running
I can’t recommend this app and program more. I primarily use the strength training and stretching routines. They keep me on track with improving my running speed (I’m 48 and pretty slow, but I have hope!), and I’ve stayed injury free. The content is varied and the instructors are clear and pleasant.
Best app for runners
This app is the best! It is tailored for runners, well organized and includes enough variation to keep it interesting. Along with increasing cadence and landing mid-foot instead of heel strike—Dynamic Runner got me back to running my favorite distance (10 K) pain free!
Great content!
This can be a game changer especially if you are facing injuries or even if you want to be proactive and stretch. I've seen great improvement
My Go To Stretching & Mobility Program for Past 3 Years
Big fan of Dynamic Runner! Have used the warmup programs before & stretching & mobility programs after running & HIIT workouts. Love the variety combined with some repetition to build confidence in the movements. Used the injury reprogramming a time or two & that was helpful too.
Had been doing same set of static stretches for years. Just run it & follow - no need to think.
