Remotely manage and monitor cooking temperatures, monitor the temperature of your food, view graphs of your cooks and receive alerts when your cook is finished or when the EGG temperature is too high or low.
The EGG Genius app works with an EGG Genius WiFi Temperature Controller to:
• Control the device through your smartphone, tablet or computer to remotely manage and monitor the internal temperature of the EGG
• Monitor the temperature of your food; view graphs of your cooks
• Receive alerts when your cook is finished or when the EGG temperature is too high or low
• Quickly reach your desired cooking temperature as the blower ramps up to fan the lighted charcoal; once the desired temp is reached, the variable speed blower automatically adjusts the blower speed to optimize the set temperature.
• Automatically lowers the pit temperature to keep your food warm when the cook is complete.
• Detects the sudden temperature drop from opening the dome and turns the fan off temporarily to avoid over-stoking the fire.
• In the case of a power outage, the unit continues running at the saved set temperature and reconnects to the WiFi network automatically when power returns.
• Use up to 3 meat probes at once – additional meat probes with Y-cable can be purchased separately.

App and Connectivity Needs Work
Frequent app lockups, login issues, and connectivity issues. Two software engineers here trying to connect the EggGenius to my WiFi router using the App with latest iOS. A trifecta of problems makes the device unusable. Nice concept. Poor execution. Bad strategy on my part for trying this out for the first time on Memorial Day!
Terrible app
Cannot make an account, and thanks to the new update, cannot use your egggenius without making an account. EDIT*** Customer service responded after hours, on a weekend, and it appears they have fixed the issue. Way to go.
Garbage
Won’t even let me create an account. Had 4 people at my house download the app and not a single person could get passed the mandatory requirement to simply create an account. Why on earth should you have to do that to begin with? RIP OFF!
AWFUL
This app is such a massive pile of garbage. I am unable to create a new user to even use it. Please don’t waste your time or money on the egg “genius”.
You’re not done!!!!
For as much money as we pay into this community!!!! I own two, fix the interface of egg genius. Also, why can’t I see my temp while my iPhone is in standby? Make it a widget! You’re losing market share!!!

Works good until you really need it
Peak season connection DOES NOT WORK!!!!!! Ruined all my holidays with server issues!!! No need to be on your servers. Just have it a WiFi connection in users home and screw the account garbage!!!
Doesn’t connect or stay connected
Really poor design - no longer stays connected and login FAILS continuously
Too much money for poor performance
We spend a lot of money for our eggcessories and we need them to work. The app is a disaster from a consistency standpoint. First two hours of cooking a brisket was great, then lost connection. After that, complete disaster. Now trying to spend Christmas with family and having to personally monitor the brisket. We bought this so we could could go you our daughters house for Christmas Eve and now I’m leaving every hour to check it because the app will not connect to the device and good luck logging or resetting the password. App developer must fix this issue before anyone should buy the product. Very disappointed!
