Elgato Control Center

Wäre super. Leider klappt es meist nicht. Die App erkennt fast nie die Lampe. Klappt es aber dann doch zufällig mal, funktioniert alles super. Nur das hilft nicht, wenn es meist unzuverlässig ist.

Ich besitze die Elgato Light strip. In der Anleitung und auf der Homepage wird zu dieser App geführt, nur kann ich diese app nicht installieren weil sie in meinem Land (Österreich) nicht verfügbar ist.

Ein sehr schönes update

Meiner Erfahrung nach liegt es zu 99,9% nicht an den Geräten der Markenhersteller wenn diese in der App etc. nicht reagieren sonder einfach am verwendeten W-Lan. Seitdem ich in eine Fritzbox mit WiFi 6 und Repeater für 100% Abdeckung (Mesh) investiert habe funktioniert alles einwandfrei. Aktuell 30 Geräte im W-Lan mit festen IPs (vergeben) ✅. Also Leute, immer selbst reflektieren und vielleicht mal gucken ob das Problem nicht wo anders liegt. Die App ist übrigens TOP man bekommt W-Lan Signalstärke inkl. IP vom Gerät angezeigt - was will man mehr?!

Die Geräte brauchen völlig freien Internetzugang und zueinander. In einem gut abgesicherten Firmennetzwerk funktionieren sie nicht. Warum sie dann B2B verkauft werden verstehe ich nicht. Ich finde es auch lächerlich, dass eine Lampe eine App Steuerung BRAUCHT. Als Option super, aber so ist es schon jetzt Sondermüll. Danke für die Antwort, aber genau das ist das Problem. Diese Voraussetzungen sind mit den Sicherheitsvorgaben eine Corporate Networks nicht vereinbar. Da sehen zB Rechner im gleichen wlan nicht. Daher nur für private empfehlenswert.

I can not use the app, it wont show the lamp (key light air). On the desktop I am able to use it.

Sowohl die Lampe als auch die zugehörige App funktionieren genial gut. Verstehe die 1-Stern Bewertung nicht! Ich würde beides klar empfehlen!

I purchased the Elgato Key Light and used this app to control it with. Absolutely easy to use that even a caveman can figure it out! Simple on/off as well as ability to vary brightness and the cool/warm light. Will be purchasing for family for Christmas!

A very disappointing experience with an otherwise satisfactory product. A shame i’ve spent hundreds of dollars on lights and am unable to use them due to a malfunctioning application. Seems like an extreme oversight by Elgato, who I’ve previously been very happy with. The app fails to recognize the lights that have been connected and reconnected to the correct network. Utterly unintuitive and unreliable.

I have a Key Light and most of the time I need to reset it. Very unreliable. Constantly troubleshooting to see why the light disappears from the app. Why can’t we have physical controls on your lights rather than relying on trash software and Wi-Fi connection?
