Have been using the app since 2 months . Data is pretty accurate , with the addition of bidirectional monitoring for all the branch circuits monitoring my hybrid solar inverter is possible now ! . Merging option for branch circuits is very useful for monitoring 3 phase loads . Thanks emporia for valuing the customer feedback and implementing them in the software.
App is crude, the graphing is a joke, it’s impossible to find meaningful historical data as you cannot zoom. Want to see by-the-minute usage from 2 days ago? You’ll be scrolling for ages.
the last update broke all graphs, minutes hours days months and years no longer are usable please fix!!!
Will change to 5 stars when variable rate plans are supported for monthly cost tracking. App currently only supports flat rate bill tracking / management.
It would be nice to have more options to turn power off and on.
System was great until they broke it. First they released a chart update that’s horrible. Then they release an update that breaks the charts completely. It’s been broken for nearly 2 months now. Historical data beyond a day goes back to Oct 28 and is just stuck there. It’s pretty much worthless now. Don’t buy emporia until they release a new update that works.
I thought I hated the new format. After looking at it some more it just felt counter intuitive. Once you look at each granularity (second, minute, hour, day, etc) as the span of the graph, it makes a lot more sense. The “average” system in the top right of the screen doesn’t seem useful but I’m sure there is a use case. Overall pretty happy with new system .
Being able to monitor usage down to the circuit level is a great way to figure out where you’re wasting energy. Highly recommended!
The update seems to be a downgrade at the same time, why keep messing with it?
