Etoro will lock up your crypto purchases and not allow you to withdraw crypto or USD! This is a major scam and also a major business failure. The owners and cto should be ashamed of this scam joke of a business that preys on people. I have not been able to remove about $500 worth of funds for over 6 months and they need to be accountable for these types of deceptive business practices that are essentially theft
I opened a eToro account and bought some tron. Since I purchased the tron, I have been trying to transfer it out. 4 or 5 years later, I’m still trying to transfer it. Not even remotely close to user friendly. Not even remotely close to allowing you own your crypto. Not your keys, not your coins.
This app is crazy to even be on the AppStore, i wanted to send from one wallet to another and not only does it not do that but now takes my money days to return to my account this is insane
App doesn’t work if you use e-toro sell your portfolio and move to any other platform you’ll thank me!!
Holy cow is this just blatantly money-grabby. EToro holds your “invested funds” 4-5 business days longer than it should but claims the transaction hasn’t settled with your bank. I watched my transaction settle on the bank side a full 3 days before they were available to transfer to the bitcoin wallet they force you to use before you can transfer it off the platform. Here’s the worse kicker: they limit the amount of BTC you can send to just .05. Meaning that you have to pay some multiple of network fees more than any other platform. If you’re serious about investing in bitcoin, go elsewhere. I’d say this product was intentionally bad, but honestly, no one is this creatively evil.
Scammed me out of my money absolute trash
Let me first say this: All I wanted to do is withdraw some eToro funds via crypto to my external wallet and I was able to acomplish this within a couple of hours. But there's no reason for this app to exist, you shouls just be able to send whatever crypto you have in eToro to any wallet at any time. Also, the quality of this app doesn't help at all. Spacings are inconsistent, animations are too linear and it doesn't even remember your login so you have enter your credentials and 2FA everytime you open it.
Has NOTHING to do with your Etoro account. Impossible to transfer funds from Etoro (which is also trash). Literally ZERO customer support. I have $30 dollars that I simply cannot do anything with. Been using crypto for years, and this is the dumbest "service" I've ever encountered.
My money is stuck in withdrawal, looks like they love to scam customers and even close accounts for some users causing them to lose their money. NO NOT INSTALL. You have been warned.
