Yes, EVA AIR is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is EVA AIR legit?
⚠️ The EVA AIR app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Brilliant airline that I have been travelling with on long haul flights.
However my flight too BKK on 13/05/24 seat 45 K was very poor.
1. The crew was very poor. 2. Water was offered only twice in 12 Hours. 3.The mid flight snack was almost thrown at me crew seemed un-interested with a can’t be bothered attitude almost surely. I was shocked with this trip .
Return flight was justFantastic a truly great experience and all down to the crew. I was Truely impressed with the attention to details and great experience by the crew form all on board.
To be congratulated.

Absolutely horrendous app says login failed when entered correctly avoid no were near as clean and quick as Etihad or Emirates absolutely rubbish
Problem with new version
Since I installed the new app 6 days ago I cannot drill on Booking - Details , the app just closes down.
Satisfied
It seems they fixed a lot of issues that have previously been mentioned. I had no issue checking in and downloading my boarding pass to Apple wallet. Sure the app is a bit more clunky than most and doesn’t look the most legitimate but otherwise everything transitioned smoothly and I had no problems.
Poor information
We are waiting to depart for a flight that’s supposed to leave at 9:20 pm but have been advised by the staff that there could be a delay of one to 2 hours due to a medical issue on the incoming yet the flight status app is still showing the flight leaving on time.
Beyond terrible
Am travelling in Asia, app worked (badly) to get here from UK, but now I am in Thailand it’s randomly logged me out so am unable to check next three flights, password reset doesn’t work, thankfully I had printed out all flight details as a back up, had I depended on this useless app I would now be stuck. I travel regularly and so use about six other airlines apps, this if BY FAR the worst and frankly is not fit for purpose.
Awful app
Very clunky, hard to navigate, slow, doesn’t display any important information , had random push notifications that didn’t show anywhere when clicked. Worst airline app I’ve ever used!
Lousy app
Lousy app that cannot even log in properly and cannot recognize the membership. EVA need to hire better people to write this app.

I hope this app doesn’t reflect the quality of the airline. I really can’t understand why it’s been so bad for so long! Now queue the generic response!
Screen brightness is unbearable
This app puts screen brightness at full every time you open the app. How insane you have to be to implement such feature?! My eyes are sensitive and I can't use this app.
