Everfit FAQ
Is Everfit free?
Yes, Everfit is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Everfit legit?
🤔 The Everfit app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Started using the app around 5 weeks ago with my PT. It’s incredibly similar to other PT apps out there that I have used before, but with less integration with Apple fitness and Apple health - both reading and writing. The usability of the app is fairly straightforward although unlike competitors it does not allow you to add a weight to a particular move and apply to all sets, which would be more straightforward. Does not write things such as workout length to apple fitness so you have to both start your workout in Everfit and also start a workout in Apple fitness which seems duplicative. Overall not a bad app but more of an average “me too” to the competition rather than a “better different” in terms of innovation and performance. Fingers crossed they keep developing and innovating to improve.
Bring back the animals!
Loved the animals that would show at the end of a workout. Ex: “Congratulations! You lifted 5 alpacas. You lifted 770 lb during this workout. An alpaca weighs 150 lb on average!” Motivated me every workout to see which animal would pop up, especially when increasing weight. Haven’t had those in about 2 months. :(
We need the app integrations to sync workout data.
Honestly steps is not enough. Garmin is tracking my workout already so I don’t want to have to manually enter the data anymore 😂.
Lacks Key Feature
While the app supports you in most of the core functionality to execute on a mobile device, using this app on an iPad is useless if you cannot use it in landscape mode. I use my iPad like a laptop with mobile data to ensure I can work from anywhere and not having the ability to use this in landscape means that as an app itself, it lacks the feature that makes it useable. I can certainly use this on safari, but if that is work around, then simply don’t have an app.
Glitchy, crashes a lot
The app always crashes when filling out a form. I’ll be almost done after having spent so much time writing and filling out forms, just for it to crash on the last question and lose everything.
Also, the exercise sessions should be more customizable for clients. Let us pause exercises. Let us move them around.
Shortcomings
The app is very buggy will connect and sometimes it wont. You cant log weight workouts but mostly everything else which is ridiculous.
App Falls Short
App needs to have more apple integrations like with the watch and collect exercise/activity data. It’s incredibly painstaking to manually input activity data recorded on the watch into this app. Additionally, there are workout demos that do not match the actual workout assigned.
Clunky and non-intuitive
Not a fan. There are much better fitness apps out there.
Signing up
When you go to sign up in the beginning it ask for user name or to sign in with Google. So I made an account with Google and then try to log in with it but says the account ain’t verified and to sign up but there is no sign up button
It’s great!
Perfect app, I have no idea why these reviews are mostly low. I love it!
