Factor_ Prepared Meal Delivery

After trying to change my meals the app is showing you a note saying that I could add en extra meal for only $1.20. But funny enough when I decide to click on an extra meal it actually charges me a full amount. Tried talking to 3 different employees. None of them can explain why does their company scam people like that nor why that promo is even there. All three hanged up on me… so I might as well leave it here. Stay away from them. All these fancy promos are a lie. THEY WILL OVER CHARGE YOU!

I’ve tried them all and they all have advantages, Home Chef, Hello Fresh, Blue Apron and Suvie. While I enjoy making dinner, it’s nice to take a break from cooking with ready made meals. Factor by far has the most flavorful meals in this category. Good portions for healthy eating-not too big, not too small. I hate overeating or throwing away food, so Factor is the solution. Every time, I think to myself, “How can a microwave meal taste this great?” Even the filet mignon comes out tender! While I’ll continue to mix it up with several services, Factor is a “go to” in the rotation from here on out.

Ordered Factor for a trial period. They left my box in a bush-IN A BUSH!!-somewhere in my apartment complex. They sent me a picture of a box behind a bush. Idk what bush that is!? They all look the same! I tried to cancel my subscription, spoke with customer service and everything, and they said my orders were cancelled. Nope. I was charged and got an email with a picture of a box just LEFT OUTSIDE ON THE SIDEWALK of my apartment complex’s leasing office, which is almost half a mile from my building!? I’d add the photos if I could. 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Difference between photos and meals as they are plated are drastic. Especially when a meat or fish is layered on top of a vegetable or grain. Portions of the bottom layers have also been consistently smaller than the pictures. Flavors are at times decent. Salmon and filet mignon both are served well done with microwave times. Not our taste. We have one more week of food coming and then will try another service. Not for us. (Oh, and there was a long black hair in the salmon teriyaki which means that at least these meals are prepared by humans!)

The app loves to say things like “Add an additional meal for $0.22!” but that is absolute nonsense. The meals cost roughly the same no matter how many you order - somewhere around $13 each (non-premium). The food is good, but I’m extremely frustrated that I have to put everything in my cart and jump through hoops just to know how much that week’s food will cost. I’ve spent way too much time with a calculator and this app, and *never* found any option where a meal costs less than average. It feels extremely dishonest and makes me not trust the brand.

Everyone appreciates a break from cooking, but with Factor_, I’ve nearly retired! My husband and I can’t name one meal that we “don’t” like or love. We enjoy the salmon & shrimp meals the most & splurged for a Christmas treat, I splurged for the filet mignon for Christmas meal for two. We were very impressed. I wasn’t planning on staying on the plan so long, but it’s such good quality & much cheaper than eating out at a restaraunt or takeout & delivery. We love Factor_ & the variety of choices and types of meals offered. We’re very happy customers.

Too expensive

They reactivated my account because I logged back in just to see if I wanted to try it out again. Refused to refund me because they shipped out boxes all because I signed in to old account. Didn’t ask to reactivate they just did automatically. Told them address was old and building was destroyed by fire. Don’t recommend this company

Give me an option to start deliveries at a specific date. You are incredibly wastedful

Food arrived on time and is delicious
