Leave your books, character sheets, and dice bags at home. Fight Club 5th Edition serves as a digital character sheet that can be all you need to play a Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition game.
Character Sheet
Everything you would write into a 5th Edition character sheet can be inputted into Fight Club. Set your basic character information (ability scores, skills, proficiencies, etc...) and all the stats will be automatically calculated. Any bonuses/penalties you receive through various traits and features can be also be set. And, if going completely paperless isn't allowed in your game, the app can also generate a printable character sheet PDF file.
Spellbook
Select from a large list of fully detailed spells and add them to your PC's spellbook. Select which are prepared for the day. Track spell slot usage. Everything you'll need for your sorcerers and wizards.
Equipment
Keep a list of all of your equipment and loot. All of your armor and weapons can be equipped and unequipped and with the tap of a button and stats, like armor class, will automatically change to reflect your current gear.
Dice Roller
All of your stats and attacks can be rolled with a tap of a button. Also included is dice calculator that allows you to input a custom roll. Need to roll 1d20 + 6d9 + Constitution modifier? Fight Club has what you need.
Compendium
A customizable compendium of content that by default includes all of the races, classes, backgrounds, feats, equipment, spells, and the monsters from the System Reference Document 5.1. This does not contain all of the official content from the Player's Handbook so you'll have to input any missing. To make adding easier, there is an Import feature through which you can type/copy content on your PC then transfer the file into the compendium. Fan made files are also available for download, so search online.
Premium Version
The app is free to download, but you are limited creating only one character and you will see a small advertisement at the bottom of the screen. Upgrading to the premium version with the in-app purchase will allow you to create unlimited characters and remove any advertisements.

Fight Club 5th Edition Reviews
To Avid DND Players - USE THIS!
I have been using 5e Fight Club for ~5 years, and have found time and time again it is the best DND app out there. It is not perfect, but it is incredibly customizable, and if you’re able to find some .json files online with all the 5e content… then you can easily import them and have access to all the 5e content your mind desires, including homebrew content!
All my friends have cycled through multiple 5e apps and systems and everyone I know who has 5e Fight Club sticks with it. Surely, it is not a perfect app and it has some quirks, but it is the most reliable, clear, and handy app I’ve found. It includes a compendium and rules reference, and for a small small price (paid it years ago) you can have unlimited characters.
There is also a companion DM application which works with this one.
10/5!
No response
I’ve been using this app for years. I’ve recommended this app to all my friends who play D&D 5e… now I regret that, I’ve had the same problem with this app for months. IT WILL NOT BACK UP TO ICLOUD OR TO MY PHONE. My iCloud is not full nor is my phone. I add new characters and edit them. Nothing gets backed up. I’ve reached out to the developer in ever way I can find and still no response and no fix.
Best Character Sheet App
Small learning curve, but the best character sheet app I’ve ever seen. All the relevant rules and rolls right at your fingertip.
My review of fightclub
Fightclub is a great source of dnd information, building characters, customizing monsters, all for free! (One exception but I’ll get to that in a bit) you need to download files of info onto the app, which can easily be found online. You can make one character that is stored on Fightclub for free, or pay only 2.99$ to be able to make as many characters of you want! It’s a one time purchase too. I’ve been using it for awhile now, and I’ve encountered no glitches, or bugs, and I haven’t noticed any other issues either. The app is also very easy to use! After downloading it, it took me about 20 seconds to figure out how to use it. For making characters, that took me a bit to figure out, not that I didn’t understand how it worked, but the way it is constructed was new and a bit intimidating, but after I made one, I wanted to make more. When it comes to making characters, the app is very freeform about it, so it’s up to the creator to stay within the rules, but that also means that nothing is left out. Honestly, I think that fightclub is better than say, DNDBEYOND. This is just my personal opinion, and DNDBEYOND definitely had more features like maps and campaigns, but fightclub is cheaper and costs nothing to make one character with all of the options, if you have the file. I say try both and see what works for you!
Still the best digital character sheet.
I’ve used this app for probably around 8 years now and it’s always just been the best. Yes, initial setup may be a bit finicky because the dev can legally only add the SRD, but there are plenty of online resources for adding in all of the remaining official material.
Even before I studied any coding, I was able to transcribe over full homebrew classes, spells, etc. It can definitely take a bit of time, but it’s also very simple. Since the files are just XML files, you need next to no knowledge about coding to add in your own material. It’s very easy to write your own files and add them in with just simple copy/pasting by using pre-existing files as a template.
I’ve used this app to create hundreds of characters over the years and I’m sure I’ll create hundreds more with it in the future.
A Few Issues
It’s an amazing app but when you make too much stuff and try to save it, it crashes I hope we can get this fixed cause I’ve been using this app for a while and prefer to keep using but theirs a few things that need to be fixed.

This app is perfect
Literally flawless. By far the happiest I’ve ever been with any application I’ve ever downloaded. I could not possibly be more please. I look forward to the integration of more 5e books!
Great abilities
I am able to create custom items and spells. Am able to plug in other things too.
The best there is
I have used a variety of apps, services, and tools for character building in dnd 5e. None of them have come close to the sheer usability of Fight Club 5e. The Compendium means you can fill your available resources with every official, unofficial, and homebrew option there is if you want to, and can share what you’ve accumulated with others. It is beyond useful, and buying the premium version is worth it not for the extra character slots, but purely because it is worth the options provided by the app.
I do agree with keeping it free, though. I just encourage anyone who is able to to buy the premium option because the app is worth the price.
