This app is great for creating 5e characters and once you’ve added/downloaded all the material you want for your games it’s super easy to run from there. One complaint/issue I have is that warlock spell slots are not tracked separately to other spell caster slots so multiclassing can be an issue.
Character sheet for my lvl 12 barbarian is just gone. Big sad.
It’s easy enough to move around and find all the information you want I just find there is some small floors Mainly about the lack of information pre-downloaded and the difficulty of finding more to download
I’ve paid for the in app purchase to unlock multiple characters for the price of $5. Was great at first but now am being charged monthly for the same purchase even though it wasn’t disclosed that is was a monthly subscription. You guys need to work on your communication with your customers. Now I’m struggling to figure out how to cancel the subscription. Not impressed guys
It works. It's user friendly. Little preference issues here and there. But the app is solid as long as you got the right data.
I can't get the files to work, and the full version is rather expensive, but it's an incredibly useful app once you finish a character or two finished.
It took a little bit of time to find the files for the data, but once I did, I shared them with my D&D group and now it’s all we use. And it’s also regularly updated and the updates add even more useful features. It integrates well with Game Master 5e so we can create characters and then export them for our DM to use for our campaigns.
Disclaimer I bought the full version which is largely the same as the free version minus the fact you can only have one character in the free app. Fight Club 5 looks nice, and runs pretty smoothly, has space for just about everything and has the tools for custom equipment, classes, backgrounds and more which spectacular, and makes alterations reasonably easy though some exploration is needed to figure out how to get it to all work. With that being said it is fairly intuitive. Features I would like to added: Exporting Characters (or a guide to making a character and importing them entirely in code) would be nice for those people who have a large number of characters, or who want to have multiple levels of the same character saved. Racial Spells casting Stat doesn't really work out that well, nor is there a way to do something like magic initiate. Currently the Feature title/name and text are only slightly different, I wouldn't mind seeing a slightly larger difference, or the ability to make that difference. Expertise feature could be added, currently you have to use a workaround of adding your proficiency bonus again. These are just little additions but would help clean up the experience. Bugs: I have not run into any for almost a year

Making characters? BOOM 10X FASTER, Leveling up? 20X FASTER. If you are a player or a DM you NEED this app, you will thank yourself.
