App no longer works
Since the new updates am unable to click on any records, so having to use the website instead. Please please allow people to access records in the family tree
First Thing
Just opened the app on an iPad and it looks like it’s stuck in a size suitable for a phone. Would have expected it to resize for an iPad screen. Will continue and give more feedback later, hopefully better score also.
Terrible on iPad
Why, in 2024, do we still not have an iPad app? Crazy.
Ipad access
Very poor used on Iphone and on desk top no full Screen capability glad i am not paying for access to site.
Not suitable for iPADs
Tried the app as I’m getting errors using the website on chrome but it’s useless. I only get a postage stamp size bit in the middle. It doesn’t fill my screen. Looking at the tree is useless as I can only see three relatives at a time. .
Disappointed no iPad version
Very disappointed that the FindMyPast app isn't able to use the bigger layout of the iPad to show more detail. Its main competitor, Ancestry, is already taking full advantage of the bigger screen.
Hopeless on an iPad
The content offered is great - but it’s really annoying that the app isn’t optimised for use on an iPad. You have a lovely big landscape screen and a silly little narrow picture in the centre. How can you look at a family tree in portrait?! Considering the cost of using FMP this is poor.
STILL Next to useless on an iPad
Still Next to useless on an iPad, been waiting some time for an update so I can use it (and see it) on an iPad. I note other people have complained about the same issue. Update 3 days ago and still only fills the same amount of screen as a phone. Why do developers think everyone wants to use software only on a phone. Miles behind the competition. Will keep my subscription with Ancestry.
Good records but
There are a lot of good records, but there are a lot of transcription errors. There are also too many times when the website doesn’t work properly and throws up an error. The iPad app is disappointing. Why is the area of the screen so small?
