Description

Nintendo's hit strategy-RPG Fire Emblem series, which has been going strong for more than 30 years, continues its journey on smart devices.

Fight battles customized for touch screens and on-the-go play. Summon characters from across the Fire Emblem universe. Develop your Heroes' skills, and take them to new heights. This is your adventure—a Fire Emblem that's like nothing you've seen before!

This application is free to download and offers some optional in-app purchases.

■ An epic quest

The game features an ongoing, original story where new characters and dozens upon dozens of battle-tested Heroes from across the Fire Emblem universe meet.

There are over 2,200 story stages available as of February 2024! (This total includes all difficulty modes.) Clear these story stages and you'll earn Orbs, which are used for summoning Heroes.
New story chapters are added frequently, so don't miss out!

■ Intense battles

Take part in strategic turn-based battles streamlined for on-the-go play with maps that fit in the palm of your hand! You'll need to think hard about the advantages and disadvantages of each Hero's weapon...and even evaluate the map itself as you battle. Lead your army with easy touch-and-drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally over an enemy.

New to strategic turn-based battles? Don't worry! Use the Auto-Battle option to have your characters fight on their own.

■ Strengthen your favorite Heroes

There are many ways to strengthen your allies: leveling, skills, weapons, equipable items, and more. Take your characters to greater and greater heights as you battle for victory.

■ Replayable modes

In addition to the main story, there are many other modes where you can strengthen your allies, compete against other players, and more.

■ Original characters meet legendary Heroes

The game features numerous Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and brand-new characters created by artists Yusuke Kozaki, Shigeki Maeshima, and Yoshiku. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army.

I like

No SoV seasonals for 1.7 years and no Mae content for 7 years

Jasonredsoldier on

With the amount of disrespect that SoV received over the past years and that Mae who’s my favorite SoV character hasn’t got anything for over 7 years, I can fully confirmed that Intelligent Systems hate Shadows of Valentia as if they are ashamed of their own creation.

I’m stuck

Edelgard

CrayolaPen on

Games fun but stop making a new edelgard that tanks and one shots everything. You’re simply draining the life out of the character that barely had any to begin with

Hey, the game is great and all but the nintendo account link isn’t working properly. No matter how many times I try to open my account, the login button doesnt work.

Pretty bad in many sense of the word

Locking quality of life behind subscription Paid skins that boosts stats Sparking for most limited banners locked behind subscription Guaranteed pity also locked behind subscription Power creep that can make 1 month old units objectively worst than the newer one in every way Ressource sink needed to make old units keep up with new ones is insane Asinine skill description that will take up your whole screen Needing 11 copies of an unit to max them out Overall, not worth your time nor money. 2 stars simply because character designs are great, but png alone cannot save the game

Mildly fun but still gacha

natalie-leone on

It doesn't have the depth of a real Fire Emblem game but the battles are still enjoyable short affairs. The real issue, as with most freemium games, is the unending grind meant to encourage you to drop money for random rewards. If you have poor impulse control and are irresponsible with money this game is probably right for you, otherwise it's a semi-enjoyable facsimile of an SRPG.

Impossible to keep up with new units

Constant powerscaling

notimetravel on

TLDR, game sucks now, was great before. You missed out. If you start playing you will fall behind in terms of power very fast now because each new hero is more broken than the last, where as before, you could rely on being clever and building your own units creatively. It’s getting to a point where new units in the game are ALWAYS more powerful than the last, and not subtlety anymore. You have to draw new heroes or you will fall behind and not be able to play basically. (Its almost as if this game was designed to take your money… hmmmmm…) I stopped playing for a few years. I didn’t get all the new and powerful heroes, but I could at least still play and enjoy the game. I come back and find out even just basic event heroes are more powerful than legendary ones. Somehow. It’s RNG, yes, but it wasn’t purely like that before. You could really experiment with each unit and skills you got from pities and non-5 stars, and you could still grind to catch up. You didn’t have to rely on new dumb way too overpowered heroes to actually win. Now, it’s literally pay to win. No fun anymore to experiment when there’s literally a slew of super overpowered units you basically have to draw to win. Or maybe I’m just OLD Oh and FEH pass will always be stupid. It’s clear how desperate this game has been as of late in terms of making money.
