Strategy RPG

Published by: Nintendo Co

Description

Nintendo's hit strategy-RPG Fire Emblem series, which has been going strong for more than 30 years, continues its journey on smart devices.
Fight battles customized for touch screens and on-the-go play. Summon characters from across the Fire Emblem universe. Develop your Heroes' skills, and take them to new heights. This is your adventure—a Fire Emblem that's like nothing you've seen before!
This application is free to download and offers some optional in-app purchases.
■ An epic quest
The game features an ongoing, original story where new characters and dozens upon dozens of battle-tested Heroes from across the Fire Emblem universe meet.
There are over 2,400 story stages available as of August 2024! (This total includes all difficulty modes.) Clear these story stages and you'll earn Orbs, which are used for summoning Heroes.
New story chapters are added frequently, so don't miss out!
■ Intense battles
Take part in strategic turn-based battles streamlined for on-the-go play with maps that fit in the palm of your hand! You'll need to think hard about the advantages and disadvantages of each Hero's weapon...and even evaluate the map itself as you battle. Lead your army with easy touch-and-drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally over an enemy.
New to strategic turn-based battles? Don't worry! Use the Auto-Battle option to have your characters fight on their own.
■ Strengthen your favorite Heroes
There are many ways to strengthen your allies: leveling, skills, weapons, equipable items, and more. Take your characters to greater and greater heights as you battle for victory.
■ Replayable modes
In addition to the main story, there are many other modes where you can strengthen your allies, compete against other players, and more.
■ Original characters meet legendary Heroes
The game features numerous Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and brand-new characters created by artists Yusuke Kozaki, Shigeki Maeshima, and Yoshiku. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army.

Fire Emblem Heroes Reviews

No SoV seasonals and no Mae content for years

Jasonredsoldier on

With the amount of disrespect that SoV received over the past years and that Mae who’s my favorite SoV character hasn’t got anything for over 7 years, I can fully confirmed that Intelligent Systems hate Shadows of Valentia as if they’re ashamed of their own creation and that they shouldn’t remake it! 02/08/2024: Still no Mae alt or any SoV seasonals and the only content they got is some Celica content. They really hate SoV… 29/10/2024: 2 years of no SoV seasonals! Alm hasn’t got a new alt for 4+ years, Mae got 0 alts for 7+ years and Celica is still SoV's only representation of 2024! They truly despise SoV and this is truly the worst year for SoV fans who aren’t Celica fans! 12/12/2024: No a single seasonal for the whole year. Basically no Mae alt once again. I rest my case about 2024 being SoV’s worst year. At least we go another SoV resplendent. 2025 better be a good year for them and we better get lots of seasonals especially Mae!

Powercreep Makes the Game Unplayable.

The gacha mechanics aren't even the problem, it's the fact that unless you try pulling for every brand new unit, you'll be at a horrendous disadvantage when fighting in any PvP mode. Early 2024 units are useless against late 2024 units, which were already leagues better than anything released in 2023. God forbid you try to use a favourite character that doesn't have an exclusive weapon. What happened to "Of course powercreep is something we're concerned about. But we are taking actions to prevent that from happening."? The developers clearly gave up trying to balance anything.

Very Fun!

I enjoy the game alot, They never reply to your inquiries though and you have to complete these strategy things to character level which is just utter nonsense when you don’t want to play the game manually at all. So 3 stars I think is actually pretty good considering! Highly recommend!

This game was fun in 2021 but after that it wont let me update the game and I been spending the last 3 years trying to figure out how to update to game it’s truly a living hell

Good for what it is

Honestly one of the more generous gacha games I’ve played. Very solid and enjoyable game for the most part and is easy to just pick up and play while on the bus or something, but can also be fun to commit some time to. Some of the more recent gameplay mechanics feel pay to win but that’s kind of to be expected of a game like this.

Don’t waste your time

This game is a good game itself , but when you summon heroes it become a way worse game. If you are a free play player and you want achieve sth in this game don’t even think about it and don’t waste your valuable time and money!

Questionable Balance

IceArrowLR on

Canada

The pvp experience is a one sided mess consistently with your side either winning by a landslide or vice-versa. The base game has become a complete joke because of the extreme power creep and nothing really feels that rewarding anymore due to feeling so strong or so weak with rarely an in-between. I’ve been playing since book III and it’s sad to see the game fall of in balance over time. The game is still great but it’s nowhere near how good it used to be.
