Firefly for Parents

When I opened the app said that you are offline, please connect to internet to access your data. Please fix it.

I used to be able to view all letters from firefly app (this is the only useful function on app). Now when you click on messages - it comes up with all letters without title so you’d have to click into each to find out what the letter was about. What’s the point of having a function that’s not useful at all? Search also didn’t work. Disappointing.

Ever since I did the update to iOS 17 I cannot get the app to refresh. Tried deleting and reinstalling but nothing!

Considering children and parents have to rely on this product to connect with their children’s education I’m pretty unhappy at how poor the implementation is. Bugs aside which are regular the general quality is dreadful. The only saving grace is it’s free and not quite as painful as the website. You people need some UX professionals to sort this out!

The app just doesn’t work since the update. This is terrible for parents.

Trying to login with app, need school code to do this. Instead of giving you the option on the first page to search for it in the app, you have to login to the web edition on your PC…a bit of a convoluted process. I’ve given up, waste of time.

Downloaded the student version and it says: Starting sync… Fetching tasks:.: Retrying…. And it just won’t LOAD! Please fix it. I can’t always use the web version

When I open app it just showed a white screen. Not functioning at all. Please fix

I told my son off today for not telling me about homework that was due thanks to the parent app telling me there were multiple tasks overdue. Turns out he had done them and marked them complete but the parent app doesn’t update to show this. Firefly say it’s a known bug with a fix at an unnamed point in the future but I would say that’s one of the main reasons parents would use the app, to see what tasks their kids have for homework.
