FIS App

Several features in the live result design for cross country do not work. The choice of 3 or 6 columns doesn’t work. In portrait mode there is only one column in spite of enough room for two or four. This column is not scrollable. Too much space is taken up by headers, which leaves too few lines in the columns for results. Try to place more in the same header and make the headers thinner, the same for the footer (or remove it). The choices could maybe be placed in the three-line menu icon. Once upon a time you could have up to four favourite nations with different colours. I use an ipad gen 5 with the latest iPadOS. Maybe there are more bugs that I don’t remember now. ….. The alpine version is better, but I wish you could remove the line that appear last with the choice to jump to the top. There is no need for that as it is easy to scroll up to the beginning. It wastes one line of results.

It’s hard to understand how a organisation like FIS can deliver such a bad app. As example it’s not possible to find the standing in Tour de ski. It’s even hard to find the program. The app really sucks.

Sadly the new update has removed lots of good features, one of them being the ability to choose “favourite nation” and then seeing them in a different colour of the current race. I tried instead choosing favourite athletes, this however, did not in any way highlight them in live races. Hoping this feature will return, and my rating will once again change for the app.

How can you make a new app that is worse than the old one in every aspect??!!

No backwards compatibility? All my favourite Athletes were deleted in the update. I started adding them again but still they don’t show up under Athletes. :(
