Fitness Passport MyFP

This is a terrible app. Logs me out constantly, need 2FA to log in but there’s no reception at many gyms. Bring back the iPads!!

No stars - I don’t want to take my phone to the pool - I’ve had too much stuff stolen there. The card works fine. To be be able to track my activity would be a nice outcome on any device just don’t tie to pool admission

I was happy to carry a card and swipe it on entry, simple, effective and no fuss. It did not require access to my camera or location services, took no time to set up, didn’t need reception or wifi had no password to forget…… the app is the opposite, it’s clunky and useless. I would like to be able to use my phone for whatever I choose and not to do admin for fitness passport and for it to be a tool for them. Scanning QR codes…really????

Apple Watch capable? have put the app onto my phone however I would be happier if I could tap app on my Apple Watch

cannot login to account cannot reset password, authentication codes never and even if the phone number is correct

As the partner of the account holder I occasionally got logged out of the app and in order to log back in , I need a authentication code from the account holder, which is not practical. My teenage boy also has a phone which doesn’t have the IOS to download the app which means I will have to party and check him in each time, which is super frustrating.

I’m all for using an app instead of carrying physical cards so I was pleased to hear that we could use the app to check into gyms. That was until I actually had to use the app!! The first time I used it I had to login with 2FA that was fine because I thought fair enough first time no problem. However to have to go through this every single time is so annoying. As a few other people have said gyms are often located in basements or other areas where reception can be patchy and this makes logging in constantly extremely frustrating

Having to do 2FA every time you use is ridiculous. Particularly when you have to leave the gym, walk back out on the road to get service to get the email. The app doesnt work in my gym as like most in shopping centres there is no data service. So have got my gyms wifi but it doesn’t down load my emails.

Many gyms are in basements with poor internet connection. The app is completely useless without access to internet. Every time I want to go into my gym now, I have to scan the QR code, walk outside to the street where there’s internet connection, and come back in when it finally decides to check me in (which sometimes it doesn’t). It’s so stupid and thoughtless. Downright inaccessible. Even worse when you consider that the app randomly logs you out every few days and you have to log back in with 2FA. And then the 2FA defaults to email?? Why???

I’ve tried to set it up four times over the past three days but every time the system keeps telling me the FP system is currently not available…
