Our light switches are in a terrible place on our wall, so I love that I can just leave them on and use these flic buttons to operate my lights. I also love that I can set different light levels with different actions (eg. Single tap, double tap, hold). We use these for our bedside lights and I can operate both lights with just the one button.
The only thing I dislike is that the app has to be open to work. I hate having any apps just open when I’m not using them, but I’ve had to make an exception for this app. I’m not sure if an upgrade like this is even possible, but if there was a way to close the app but have the switch still work, so the app is just working in the background, then I would be 1000% happy with this app!
Good app, bad push notification behaviour
I’ve opted out of marketing notifications, but apparently their Black Friday deals are more important than my preferences.
Flic is always improving!
This latest release includes things I’ve personally asked for in the forums. They listen and improve their product. Very pleased with Shortcut Labs!
Disconnected disconnected waste of money. I want a refund.
Great idea. Will work a few times and then never again.
