App seems to be displaying event timestamps based on EST time zone despite the correct the correct address of my Flo showing in the app, which is in the PST time zone.
It’s fine. Our insurance company required this type of device. Its ability to learn the fixture using water isn’t great. So the data collection and reports on usage are not accurate. I’ve tried to correct the app when I know what fixture used water but the app applied it to another fixture. Unfortunately, it dose not learn. So correcting the data is a waste of time. Each time we fill the bathtub it turns off the water. Our tub is not standard so it uses more water. The app doesn’t learn specific fixture utilization so we just take our cell phone to avert the water shut down.
Doesn’t learn from feedback provided on alerts. Repeats alerts over and over so you just ignore them. Still turns off water even after pressing “2” via critical alert by phone - in the middle of a shower!!!. WiFi sensors will not connect despite HOURS on the phone with tech support and replacement sensors. I could go on and on.
Way too manual to update fixtures. Keep seeing small movement in water but no way to really troubleshoot
Unable to see the water usage, by fixture most of the time on my iPhone. The app has a conflict with many iPhones and Moen states they’re working on it but it’s been 6 months or more. If I can’t see the individual usage data, by fixture, what good is it?
Not happy with app
App no longer provides the ability to keep water on after an unusual event warning. You now have to wait until the water shuts off and then turn it back on. It used to give you a pop over window with a countdown timer until water shutoff which you could override to keep water flowing.
The valves fail all the time. The power cord is flimsy and not secured to the unit, which given one of my install locations is problematic. Somehow it’s too dumb to be able to tell when no water is coming from the main vs a valve failure. All the digital system restarts and open close functions never work. You can turn it off, wait 5 minutes. Nothing happens. Close and open the app nothing happens. I have this at 2 properties. Same issues at both. Latest iPhone software etc. just junk unreliable and overactive. The only thing it should actually be allowed to do is turn off if there’s a catastrophic amount of water loss. Honestly. Have turned down sensitivity. Have set it to learn and relearn the house. Have had it 2+ years. Take a bath - boom whole house goes off. Takes 10 tries to get the valve back on. It’s gotten to the point now where I take my phone with me into the shower when I have to get up super early and shower at an unusual time because it’s guaranteed that after 5 minutes it will shut off all my water. My insurance required it. I wish I could rip it out or find another product that is better.
Great
