Using this app genuinely makes me feel more focused and if I kill a tree I feel so bad so I dare not to leave the app while focusing 😭

You need it!
Flora has been such a tremendous help in my productivity levels. I am able to track my productivity hours, comment on what I did, and check my weekly stats. It somehow pushes you to increase your hours as compared to the previous week.

I recently downloaded this app because of some my friends and my school is just about to begin exam season. I tend to frequently get distracted by my phone so this app was perfect for that, but i’ve had apps like this before but this app is different because it actually helps people and the planet. Making an impact by staying focused. I love the concept of this app and it motivates me even more when studying. I love that i can also see my friends progress and when they’re studying. I’m trying to be their time ;) Is there an option to get out and play music though? like to make an exception just for like music or notes because if i need work from my phone i can’t get it without killing a tree but i don’t want to take the block off all apps cause then i’ll end up on instagram and tik tok. Just a small query, but i hope that this is really doing good for those farmers and families and will continue to spread the word. Thank you for this amazing app

The little plant you receive after finishing every study session is so cute and motivating! If you struggle being productive, you should definitely download this app. It hides all the distractions on your phone which helps you stay focused. Discovering that Flora helps vulnerable people in need of financial support is so heartwarming❤️

To Developers
I absolutely love this app however, I think it does lack in how we can get people motivated to study for longer. There are two features I would implement that would help with this problem, those being: A Ranking system and Streaks. Streaks - the most obvious of the two and easier to implement. Much like Duolingo implementing a streaks system will keep users motivated to get on the app and study. Adding the freezes as a measure to reassure users have a buffer however to get new freezes would require you to study. Leaderboard / Ranking system - this can be as extensive as a world leaderboard but can also be as simple as a friends leaderboard. This should be per week as it’s creates a simple motivation to go on and study. Both of these if implemented properly will lead too exponential results.
