Focus@Will: Control Your ADD

I didn’t know how to unsubscribe, as this program hasn’t been in my subscription lists, so I’ve thought I’m not subscripted, but this program somehow leaked in my subscription, however I don’t see it in the list and stole my money. Please, could you return my money?

Focus@Will – the ADHD brain’s equivalent of a zen garden… until my neurons learned the soundtrack. As a lifetime subscriber who happily traded cash for calm in my squirrel-powered mental circus, I’ll forever salute this app for being the first to successfully cage my distractible gremlins. For years, its science-y beats worked like a cognitive straitjacket – until my rogue hippocampus started Shazam-ing the background tracks. Now when familiar rhythms surface, my focus transforms into a one-brain Broadway show: Is that a 60bpm delta wave mix or the opening number to “Attention: The Musical”? Tragically, my flow state now moonlights as a drumline critic. While I’d still recommend it to anyone whose mind resembles a browser with 427 open tabs, the app’s two-year update hiatus has me wondering if developers ghosted us harder than my executive function at tax time. Five stars for past glory, only three for present reality, and a standing offer to beta test if they ever remember their App Store password.

The Bluetooth is not working for this app after the IOS update . I am not sure , which IOS update broke it . Pls fix the Bluetooth issue - thanks

I’ve been using Focus@Will for a while now, and it’s become an invaluable part of my work and teaching routines. The music they provide helps me get completely lost in my work—I find myself slipping into a flow state where I stay deeply engaged for longer than usual. Whether I’m tackling big projects or need to focus on detailed tasks, it consistently helps me block out distractions and stay productive. Shout out to my favorite channel "Chinchilla." One of the unexpected ways I’ve come to love using Focus@Will is during group activities with my students. Playing it softly in the background creates an amazing working atmosphere. It helps foster focus, creativity, and a sense of calm, even in collaborative settings where energy can run high. The variety of tracks ensures I can always find the right vibe for any activity.

I run, work, and play with Focus@Will playing in the background. As someone diagnosed with ADHD, I find this tool to be incredibly helpful in creating a more satisfying and productive life. By listening to this music, along with maintaining regular exercise and meditation practices, I am able to accomplish much more work with reduced anxiety and distractions. I highly recommend it. (Note* other apps I’ve used in the past with similar or lesser results: Brain.FM & Masmerize)

Is anyone still managing this app a/o end of 2024? Reluctantly been a paid subscriber for years now b/c the music ACTUALLY WORKS—but—the app appears to have been abandoned, even though its paywall is clearly still managed 🤨 I wish I could download the music files and just delete the app. The music is great! The app, not so much. Sadly not worth $50+/yr

it’s really irritating being put through the marketing tactic of it pressing you to take it’s quiz, and then sign up and after al that it’s like “hey you wanna free trial and then a non-optional 50 dollar subscription?” ridiculous.

For a while, I have noticed odd things with the app. When you press pause, it plays, and when you press play it pauses. But it still worked. However, with iOS 18, the app does not work and lags if you connect a Bluetooth device to it. Mac desktop also does not work. I realized there have been no app updates for two years. No response from their support page or main contact email. I think they may be defunct and would unfortunately suggest another similar company.

Idk if this used to work, there’s a lot of old reviews. But it doesn’t anymore. Just error every time.
