Description

Customize for your specific brain type! Take the quiz to select the channel, select background images, session start sound and timer length...and BOOM get productive...

Our mission is to help you focus. We're the pioneers in the focus music space. We started Focus@Will in 2011, our founder is a platinum selling song writer with over 30 years in the music industry, who knows a lot about music entertainment, but we wanted to try something radically new. So we built a team; hand selected neuroscientists, musicians, and engineers to produce a unique new product. Music for productivity.

Over the last 10 years we've helped over 2,000,000 people focus by tailoring brain music specifically to their brain type. Our proprietary AI engine is linked with the world's largest brain database, and our music is created by musicians specifically for productivity.

The music you find on Focus@Will cannot be found anywhere else; we remaster, re-edit, and re-produce each track to remove all distracting elements so you can stay productive and focused

What’s the value -- to your job, your success, your self-image -- of just one intensely-focused session where you filter out distractions and produce more work in two hours than you typically do in a day? Now, what if you multiplied that value over the course of a month, a year? That's what Focus@Will helps you achieve.

This app gives you a 7-day full-feature free trial. Just install and run. Then do your best work session ever. On-demand.

How do I know if this will work for me? Our in-app assessment agent uses data from the biggest brain database in the world combined with our own data of over 10 years of music brain research to prescribe which specific music type and energy level will work best for you. If it doesn't, no worries we offer a full 30 day money back guarantee!

Can I listen offline? Yes! We have offline mode.

Can I track my productivity? Yes! We have a built in productivity tracker.

Is there a focus timer? Yes! We encourage you to use the focus timer as a pomodoro timer, create work sessions and break times countless times a day.

Can I change the session start/end sound? Yes! Or turn them off completely.

Our subscribers are entrepreneurs, freelancers, writers, students, and include people that work in large corporations like; Google, Tesla, Apple, SpaceX and Microsoft.

Who we are: We're an independent neuroscience company based in Los Angeles, California. Our mission is to empower you to be the best version of yourself; have a healthy work/life balance; and create fulfillment and happiness in your life.

What sets us apart: We love Calm, Headspace, Brain.fm, Endel and the rest, but we offer an individualized music-for-work solution based on our connection to the biggest brain database in the world. Every audio mix is different for every user, and all the sounds and music we deliver are unique to our system.

Our system manages the ratio between your endogenous attention (ie the task you are focusing on) and your exogenous attention (ie your reptile brain looking for potentially dangerous 'fight or flight' external stimuli). Every human is different, the type of music that helps calm this response is highly individual. (Fun fact: the more easily distracted you are, the more energy you need to help you focus. Now you'll know why our ADHD channel is the way it is!)

Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, etc., we're big fans - but not when we're trying to be productive! The focus playlists found in these streaming services is usually someone's vague idea of what worked for them. When you want to get stuff done Focus@Will is the only option that was created specifically for productivity needs.

Doesn’t work :(

evelyneevelyne on

I was super excited and downloaded it, created an account and it would keep saying “error” so i re-downloaded and i need to pay 50$ when i havent even tried it yet (not even the timed version, the normal version). I can’t get my free flow lesson, it keeps saying something when wrong?

Wish it would restart better after a call

Peace0n on

Great app, but if you’re listening/working, as I imagine many of us are, on Bluetooth headphones, the app doesn’t restart when a call ends. Instead you have to click back through the options to force it to play again, and sometimes it’s the same music/sounds repeating, often I’ve had to close the app entirely and start again. If I was listening to a podcast and took a call, the podcast would then automatically restart on finishing the call. It’s a very annoying issue on an otherwise very good app. Hope this can be fixed as it messes with the whole ‘flow’ thing.

Sadly useless - Music keeps stopping after 10 mins -

I wish this app would find ways of fixing some simple bugs. I love the idea of this app. And when it works I start getting into my flow state - and then WHAM! The music just stops. Every single time. 1 star.

Game changer for ADD

Huffer78718392662 on

Having recently discovered I’m likely to be suffering from ADD, it finally makes sense why blaring techno can help me focus when logically you’d think it would do the opposite. NatureBeat and PowerTool are my favourite so far, will certainly be paying the annual subscription once my trial runs out

Wow! Get into your flow state

I was sceptical, as I have access to Apple Music with similar study / focus playlists but there is something about this apps that’s different (not sure what it was exactly?) but whatever, I found the playlists on the app app just worked for me. In 80mins, with my headphones on, I tuned into the ‘Drop’ an up tempo but non distracting beat. It’s almost as if your brain attunes to the beat - the result, I effortlessly blasted through my work in record time. I’ve subscribed. I’ve used it daily now for a few week and it helps me avoid that brain fog and procrastination - for me it’s worth it.

Good idea, keeps breaking

wobbly_jim on

The music really is effective, but the app is unreliable. Online it loses its connection, offline it randomly fails to reload the saved music meaning it all had to be downloaded again. Given that this seems to be, basically, a music player these bugs are hard to forgive.

This has changed how I get real work done.

Argus T on

I’ve used the app on I phone and MacBook for a good while now. I bought the lifetime package on recommendation from a good friend. He knew I needed something to help me focus and stop being distracted. This has really helped to fully focus and get the real work done. Just yesterday I was working on a presentation. Staring at the blank slide I thought, ok, what do I want to say. Nothing came. Grabbed my I phone, tapped the app, opened the Naturebeat channel on medium energy and away I went. I didn’t stop until the deck was done. Never looking at anything other than my work. I completed a solid piece of valuable client work and have to say the app is what drove me to completion. Take your time to listen to the many and regularly updated and added channels. Find the ones that suit the focus you need, for me it’s Naturebeat and Focus Spa, and get yourself in the zone. Highly recommended. Plus point, when you mail the developers, humans respond with happy vibes.

Needs Apple Watch app!!!

I am trying to be on my phone less, please make an Apple Watch app! Would be such a lifesaver.

No Brainer

MCCEROE on

Ive been been using f@w for about five years. The built in survey suggested types of music that would be best for my focus..so I listen to Cinematic for zoning out and getting work done on my laptop. I never would have considered that before. I use it connected to my Sonos to blitz chores around the house with the timer. Helps me get get stuff done faster, with energy. I love the random tunes it introduces me to new music, that I can look up later on Spotify. There is now an offline mode which helps me take tunes j like in the go without steaming data. Simply live this app. The $ compared to the value it has brought me...getting stuff done..is a no brainier. Mike McKerrow

Don't waste your time

KaizanPUA on

This app is just a small playlist of music. It doesn't help at all and the songs they have chosen are bad in my opinion. You can just use YouTube if you want to listen to music while you work/ study. There is a bogus quiz at the beginning that tries to deceive you into thinking they are customising the playlist for your brain type but it's just a trick to make it feel scientific, which it is not. I don't recommend this app at all, it's pointless.
