After installing the update, the app crashes as soon as I want to view video or when trying to look at the SD Card

will never connect to cameras even on full 4g coverage, the app looks fine and all but it is not functional

Mainly not working from external. Huge problems to connect. If zero star was possible, this is a solution that deserve zero. Camera type 19821P. Useless.(Jan -17)

I have 2 Foscam cameras and 2 D-Link cameras. I'm able to successfullly connect with and view my D-Link cameras 98% of the time, but with my Foscam cameras only half the time or less...after restarting the app several times. If it's supposed to be a security solution for my home it has to work. Also it is not possible to save pictures from your camera directly to your camera roll, as you can do with D-Link. Go for D-Link. It is much more reliable and user friendly.

Supports most of my Foscam FI9828P V2 functions. Cruising doesn't work. Neither does the Preset function.

Don’t waste your Money, just buy a Ring camera. I’m replacing all of these cameras. They do not alert or Record majority of the movement . Literally a Waste of your Hard earned money. And they know it’s trash .

This camera is more difficult to connect to WiFi than most. The picture quality is good but sync rate and menu function are not always responsive. I thought I was being hacked the rate at which I lose function of camera. But I have cheaper cams that Perform and sync simple and fluid.

What happened to the ability to view the SD card without y’all trying to milk me for a monthly charge?

I’ve had the camera for years and like it but the app is the only way access it and the app has progressively gotten worse over the years. It connects to the cam only about 30% of the time and when it does, it takes about a minute or two to connect on a GbE wifi network (no VPN). Im ready to throw away the camera and buy anything other than this brand. I’ll be sure to check ratings for their app before I buy any camera.

I've had problems with this app connecting to my PTZ camera from the very beginning. The latest upgrade to the app has made it so bad that I can't connect at all to the camera no matter what I do whether it is rebooting or resetting. The only way I can reboot the camera right now is to disconnect the power and start over. Nothing seems to work and customer support has been totally useless. Red flags went up after I reported the problem and they told me they needed my username and password. Not happening. I would not recommend Foscam to anyone. I'm going to try and find another program that will connect to the camera. In addition, I have cloud service through Foscam, which I will not renew.
