Awful app. Crashes constantly and extremely laggy. It also doesn’t give you any of the deals they have on (for example, cheeky Tuesdays). I downloaded it simply to avoid paying more on just eat but sure I’d be better off on just eat! It works far better and they actually give you the deals they have on. Why bother having an app in the first place?!
Poor app and loyalty scheme
Very badly designed app, difficult to use and I’ve concerns over how secure it is, especially handling payment details - better to opt to pay cash on collection.
The loyalty scheme has been made worthless, you need to spend £50 to get a discount of £1 off a future order!
Probably a security risk
I work in software dev.
This app as others have written, is an amateurish work.
Cardholder name field has a low character limit. Same with the item descriptions. Navigation is stupid. No integration with Apple Pay or PayPal. The OTP option to pay by credit card doesn’t grab the pin from the text message so it’s all manual. Four star have done this as cheaply as possible. Clearly they are making no attempt to fix. I’ll bet they get hacked at some point.
Use to work
The app use to work great but now I can’t get passed the first page just keeps loading then times out or others times it just won’t work
Difficult to use, better phoning
Issue getting past the first page Pickup or Deliver. The Next button just doesnt work no matter what is selected
Also the payment page doesnt allow enough characters for my name in the cardholder field. This is really poor
Ordering issues
I had ordering issues and logging issues until I turned my vpn of . After that got logged in straight away.
Awful app
For a company that expects customers to pay for their service it’d be nice not to have to work so hard attempting to use the app. Works occasionally, other times forgets I have an account and today won’t even recognise my address. Very very poor
Unable to order in Northern Ireland
Unfortunately, the system is only able to search or locate store based in the Republic of Ireland. It would be great to see the app get the option to use an auto locate setup, and reference based on its own map data. Hopefully we’ll see some of these changes in upcoming updates
Not recognising NI Adresses
New app needs work- Tried to use but doesn’t recognise my details or email- then insists my nearest store is in Dundalk when I know I can just walk 10 mins to one in Armagh
