It is a complete rewrite, not using any HP code, and it does not require an HP-42S ROM image.
Free42 is an Open Source project. The executables and source code are released under the terms of the GNU General Public License, version 2.

Simplesmente perfeita!
Matando saudades dos meus tempos de engenharia. Ainda tenho a original funcionando, mas agora posso tê-la no celular, pra ficar 100% igual, só se tivesse jeito de colocar a pressão das teclas, como não dá, considero perfeita! Sugestão, coloquem o barulho na teclinha que é característico de todas HPS! :D
Fiz meu curso de engenharia com essa calculadora.
Excelente implementação de uma calculadora científica formidável. Quem se acostuma a usar notação polonesa reversa (RPN), dificilmente se adapta à calcular de outra forma, pois é muito mais simples controlar a ordem das operações.
