Why don’t they have sauna times on the app?

Desperately needs an overhaul. The absolute worst of apps and websites that lets down the otherwise fine staff and facilities at Freedom / Withdean. The technology is entirely unfit for purpose - it crashes, stalls and doesn’t display in a size designed for mobile. It also lacks information about classes and instructors and lacks anything useful like adding classes to calendar etc... No thought to user flow or experience - I can’t understand why or how this continues to be allowed to remain in use.

Both the website and app really need updating. They are awful to navigate and access the information you want. You should be able to access what you need without having to enquire or contact via the phone.

App continuously needs uninstalling and reinstalling as very frequently it doesn’t recognise your log in details - sometimes it’s drops out your log in once you have access so to switch between your booked classes and to make a booking you have to log in again . Very user unfriendly and despite contacting the provider numerous times , no effort to fix

You have to log in every time, doesn’t remember you. The booking section and class search just times out. Absolutely awful, and so so frustrating.

Barely fit for purpose on app or website. Booking one class usually requires starting the process over several times and logging in repeatedly. Cancelling tends to be even worse, forcing you to wait 20 minutes for the gym to answer the phone.

No explanation from the leisure centre to say that this app event exists. No ‘login’ option in the app, you have to try and book a class first and then it prompts you to login or register. Clicking ‘register’, nothing happens. Force close the app and try again, same result. Awful UI, awful design.

Seems to be a common problem with being able to sign. Not much you can say other than it takes up space and is not useful. You can login, it’s says unauthorised. You can’t reset your password as it says service unreachable, same for using the register option. I ended up speaking to three different people and they had no ideas, the answer was to drop in and book or use their website. Decided to cancel our membership as we can never get booked on to any of the decent classes, thought the app would help as let’s you know about available slots. Such a same as local centre is really nice and the facilities for what you pay are worth it.

Can’t get into the website to book a class

I’ve just updated the app and am now presented with blank screens when I try to view my bookings or book a class. App was always ‘buggy’ but is now unusable. Will have to revert back to phoning the centre to make each booking, which is a waste of my time and your staff’s.
