Why is this on the UK App Store anymore. It’s stopped working for SMS texts and stopped being supported in the UK about a year ago. I had two mobile numbers with them and texting between them only worked to send. Replying back to a text always fails, without telling you that it failed. And their support guru’s said they were not going to fix it, and recommended 3. 3 bought this so pant apparently, and now don’t support it or setup it to work properly… so eventually you will decide to pay something higher on their network. Con job, in my view. Apple should remove it from the UK App Store.

Numbers don’t work no more

Why..... not give people a notice. Before changing..... its a normal thing to do for humans.

Just does not work reliably in any shape or form. Connections are made via the USA, by the time connection is made in the U.K. people think they have dialled for over a minute and hang up. Very inconsistent connections, that’s if you get connected in the first place. Relies on WiFi around you. We have 4G but connection signal is always low and ends up on 3G. Hard to dial out- connection gets cut off. Incoming call-one ring and connection cuts. How can this happen on the 21st Century with all the technology. Do not use this app unless you want difficulty in receiving or making calls!

The service used to be somewhat reliable, but later corrupted numerous text messages. I received message bodies intended for other people in place of texts people sent me. Sometimes when receiving a longer message the first segment (approx 110 characters) would be correct, but then the second half would be the second half of someone else’s message.

Used this app for three years then given a few days notice to switch to a paid plan or lose everything. Lost account and number as had no time to do anything not even port out number. Some have likened this to the illegal practice known as "BAIT AND SWITCH". Where you are tempted in with free plan and then when dependent, in this case your phone number, the company attempt to force you to pay or lose everything and its consequent disruption. Freedompop UK make the excuse that this app is not being supported and new subscribers cannot sign up. But the app was only updated in July 2020. Give Freedompop UK a miss.

Can’t make calls, can’t send messages. No notification for incoming calls, app need to be wide open 24hrs for it show incoming calls. No notification for incoming messages or missed calls. No customer services, whatsoever. Number get suspended without any warning, notification or any other form of communication. 5 stars for their capability on taking money out of my account each month without failure!

I need it now and it says temp out of service. I’m outraged

I signed up for cheap deal, got my SIM cards you can’t activate them as server doesn’t work. I can’t log in as I didn’t get a password or number. You can’t get password as email link doesn’t work. I’m worried as they have my card details. Don’t bother I feel like I have been scammed.

Works quite nicely now on my ipad mini with sim.
