I cannot hear any audio at all when I dial or receive calls. Plus when my phone has the Do Not Disturb setting on calls are still able to come through even though I do not allow calls through.
Had this since 2008 but suddenly they’ve changed things, previously we had magic jack and then was able to add onto phone. We both had app and all was ok for years and then they changed it and was no longer allowed on both phones and had to have stand alone app, using same number mine paying annually his up to five years. All was on til recently. We don’t use it too often but in June 1st I went to send a text. It said I had to renew although I had 19 days left it then changed things to monthly payment from June first, (wiping my 19 days off )but then nothing would work. His on his phone nor mine. I tried to contact and cancelled my payment as my phone just would not dial out or anything. He contacted them and somehow they removed his companion which was still on its contract til 25 July. Nothing worked still. I’ve been back and forth and now two months later both accounts/phones companion and stand alone don’t work. Now I’m being told I have to request it to be cancelled. HOW there’s no one who will help. So after 13 years we’ve lost our magic jack number. We cannot contact our American contacts as were stuck in Uk .. H E L P! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The worst customer service in the world and they steal your credit if you don’t use it within three months. Don’t put any credit on your account. The latest update blocks all calls, so am unable to make calls. To add insult to injury these B’@*‘s have now changed the subscription so it’s impossible to renew
I was using my number for several years and it was written on my business cards. I was a loyal paying customer until the moment when my App started to say that I should turn on automatic renewal in the AppStore. I’ve checked multiple times and haven’t found any subscription. Support said that they’ve stopped the standalone app which I was using and that basically cancelled my subscription without any warning and I can’t do anything with that. Don’t trust this company, you’ll not be able to have your number in case of another sudden change of mind without any warning.
Being an American family living in the UK this app is an absolute God send and excellent value. Call quality is generally great even to elderly deaf relatives. Thoroughly recommend
Stop working whenever log in blank screen coming if any body know how to fix it please
Magic Jack app needs to be updated at it has some bugs. Calls can’t make, voicemail is not working and I am paying for my number. Please fix before I leave this service. Thank you!
Fantastic app but I too have been receiving numerous marketing call (tax and other services) after I have just extended my service for another three years. Coincidence or not it’s annoying. Please put the blocking facility on the app (it’s available on the website)
I am sick and tired of getting so many marketing calls on daily basis. It even goes to voicemail and the only thing that i hear on voicemail is the beeps. This is so annoying. I am keeping MagicApp just because of my Aunt who can only use the normal desktop phones and has not used internet and social apps like WhatsApp and skype, otherwise I would have stopped using this App.
