Great app for Fuji users, with some bugs to work out

ChrisBanks on

Been a fan of Fuji X Weekly for years now and absolutely love using this app. However, I’ve tried to use it as a record keeper for photos I’ve taken and other recipes I’ve tried. Unfortunately, the ability to save user recipes seems to be broken right now - sometimes it’ll save part of the recipe, others it’ll just save that a new one was made without any settings in place. Otherwise, works great!

Great Resource For Fuji Shooters

alexfrommadison on

I snagged an x100v a few years back and this app has been such an invaluable resource for me coming from Canon and Sony systems. I didn’t fully understand the power and in-camera “editing” capabilities my new camera had until I got this app. So many awesome film sims with sample photos, this is a great app to have in your arsenal if you like recreating vintage vibes on the modern format.

Good app, could be better

I like this app. As the owner of an older Trans II sensor camera it would be nice if I could arrange my favorites to match the custom setting number on my camera.

Custom recipes need work

Michaellifter on

Decent collection of recipes and I like how you can fovorite them. However, adding your own custom recipe is annoying. There’s no drop down selection for the values, it’s all straight text you have to type out for each one which is very annoying and unnecessary. I expected an easier format from a $20 app. A bunch of other apps have make it easier so I may end up using those more than this. Kind of regret purchasing

This is an incredible companion app for Fuji fans

If you love Fuji and you love filmic looks, this is just an amazing app. It compiles all the film recipes from their website and puts them into a filterable (with subscription) app. Then you’re able to select camera and other options and then see the settings to use to get these looks. Get the app and check it out. You won’t regret it!!!

Can’t Open in iPad Pro 12.9”

This need to be deleted and anything info gathered and/or paid needs to be wiped clean. Can’t recommend.

Do not but if you have Fuji x100t

Great app,but can you add Chinese language support?

KNICSK on

I am love this app so much, but if the owner can add Chinese language support,it will be great. In China, there is also many people love camera and like use filter on their photo. And if owner need help on the translate of Chinese,I can help you to do this in free. Thanks so much.

A must-have for Fuji users

johngable on

This app is a lot of things at once. It’s a book of recipes for Fujifilm color (and monochrome) settings. It also serves unintentionally as an in-phone textbook on what all the color settings on Fujifilm cameras do - just by playing around with different recipes, you’ll gain an enormous understanding of how to control what your images look like straight outta camera. Finally. It’s a gateway to an entire community of people who are experimenting with their cameras and pushing them to the limits to get different looks. With Fuji cameras there are so many different possibilities to the tones, moods and looks of images that an app like this one is a requisite to making to most of your camera.

Great reference

This is key to entering Film recipes and keeping track of what I’m into using the star system. The patron option is nice with early access to recipes. I’d love if recipes followed the order of my X100V custom settings image quality setup screens. And if all recipes used the same Thumbnail image to help me tell the difference at a glance. Though the new white balance filtering greatly helps at this, recipe categories such as landscape, overcast, indoor and portrait would be ace. Get this if you use a Fujifilm camera and want to reduce the time processing raw. Straight out of the camera JPEGs from this camera using these recipes really keep me sitting and not behind a laptop.
