Took me 20 minutes to remove my charger from the Fuuse port, never using again
When it comes to actually charging your EV, don’t waste your time, £50 pre auth, which is fine. But don’t expect this money to come back for a long time. Multiple times I’ve tried to use this app it will not let me start a charging session at all, thus taking £50 each time, and I haven’t seen one pre authorisation transaction come back to me yet. Avoid at all costs.
I review this as someone who uses a local fuuse charger and has done regularly for about 5 months. Fuuse is really very solid. The app works really well, it’s straightforward, simple and fast to activate and has never once lost connection with the charger. (Which is quite a rarity; all the other charging apps and stations I use far less frequently often have connection issues with the app or suffer crashes). Nothing initially jumped out to me about fuuse but after using for a while it’s clear that this is the most reliable and that counts for a lot, especially as the competition isn’t.
Yet another app to add on my phone, have more than 15 now. Sign up was so painful, I don’t have email access all of the time so sending a code by email doesn’t help. Managed to restart and do the text code option. Started to fill in my life story, but it would recognise the first line of my address. Missed my table so just gave up and left it.
Easy to use
Terrible app, cannot register with phone or email, says a uk phone number is invalid and won’t recognise password despite resetting several times
I would use this charging point more if they were just a little more competitive.
Bug on accepting terms and conditions page as unable to click the “accept terms and conditions box” as the “I accept” box is greyed out and overlays the red box preventing access. This was on a iPhone 12.
I charged my car and FUUSE took £12.91 for the charge but also took another £50 now they won’t give it back and are saying up to 10 days as it’s ‘pending’ why is my own money pending when I haven’t spent £50?! I’m on holiday they’ve taken all my electric charge money so right now I can’t go anywhere not even to my home at the end of the holiday unless I borrow £50 froM someone and they put it on my card as you can only charge your car with card payment. Bloody crazy!
Yet another app for car charging, but this is pretty simple to download and install. My niggle is that after putting in all my card details and verified through card app when I came to pay you have Apple Pay as an option! Why it doesn’t say Apple Pay supported up front (if it did I missed it). Having said that the QR scan worked perfectly and my car connected no problem.
