GeoShred is an award-winning, fluidly expressive musical instrument that runs on multi-touch devices.

It has a performance surface with “almost magic” pitch rounding algorithms which is coupled with a model of the physics of several types of musical instruments, support for AUv3, MIDI In/Out, MPE, and 3D Touch. It’s a fusion of Jordan Rudess’ performance concepts and a powerful, modeled guitar/effects based on the Physical Modeling research of Dr. Julius O. Smith III of Stanford/CCRMA. And, GeoShred's expressive control can be used with other synthesizers.

Bonne appli mais manque cruellement d’instruments

L’appli est vraiment bien faite et j’ai pris pour le Midi MPE mais des que l’on change un programme on tombe sur un placard qui bloque tout pour acheter un pack d’instrument. A ce tarif c’est très très moyen

Best app for ever thank you “Geo” we need beginners tutorial videos

il manque la vélocité accéléromètre

L’interface vieillotte merite un petit relookage. Le menu est peu ergonomique, impossible de personaliser les couleurs et animations. Quel dommage d’avoir transformer ce merveilleux et innovant controleur midi en une usine à vendre des instruments chers et peu réalistes au lieu de se concentrer sur une meilleure jouabilité.

Instrument collection not compatible between Play and Pro version

Be warned (see title). Fortunately the support was very reactive and helped me to fix this conveniently. Great instrument packs!

One of the best music app I own

The feeling when you play notes on a touch pad is unprecedented. Very expressive. Feels like a real instrument

It’s a real instrument. Not a gadget at all, I spend hours on it. Thanks for this creation. Full suppport! I would just suggest to not update thought to that version (2 nd March) as this version messes sounds by adding random pitch bends!!!

Évidemment la meilleure application dans son genre, et qui de surcroît bénéficie de MAJ régulières, une application a posséder absolument. En revanche il est réellement impossible de retrouver un son réellement proche d’une guitare ou d’une basse, et je trouve qu’on en serait même très (trop ?) loin, c’est un peu dommage et d’autres applications font à ce niveau là vraiment beaucoup mieux. Mais bon, Geoshred reste tout de même une application exceptionnelle qui n’a pas d’équivalent 🙂

C’est l’application qui donne ses lettres de noblesse à l’iPad. L’application n’est plus très stable sous iOS 14
