I was having a hard time, trying to understand what a glycemic index was and how it affects what I eat in this app really breaks it down plus it shows you what’s healthy and what is not thank you
There’s no guidance on how to best utilize the app. A lot of foods aren’t there making you add them in and a good bit already on here are incorrect. I’d like my money back honestly
I purchased this app as a reference tool so I could look up foods for meal planning. It works well for this. I'd love to see integration with CGMs like Abbot's Lingo. That would be super useful. Don't hesitate to buy this app. It's awesome as presented and improving!
Really? Just GI for free small db. $11.99 in the app store. $24.99 in app. And reading reviews it seems the price is a moving target only to get something that can be found in an online search. App deleted immediately. No need to get feedback from the developer IGOR, reading reviews and responses there is no ethics or integrity
I purchased this app and it seems to be contradictory to all the other info i have found on GI and especially GL. I very much regret purchasing this app and really wish i could get my money back.
Would enjoy using the app if there was a more extensive library of foods. Too hard to manually add foods because GI not listed on labels and has to be manually calculated. Too tedious and labor intensive.
Categories for blood tests don’t make much sense to me.
This GI database is great also for people who have no immediate diabetic health concerns (ie. are not diabetic nor pre-diabetic) and want to keep a healthy food lifestyle. One thing that can be better is an increase in database size. Quite a bit of foods I’ve tried searching were not in the system.
The App will not allow me access without purchasing the Plus. You want $24+ inside the app and &11+ from within the App Store. Why the difference and why can’t we look around the App without having to make a purchase?
