Don’t buy a Godox flash if this app is the reason.
Smartphone features such as using this app to trigger a flash when taking smartphone photos simply does not work. The flash triggers, but the timing is out, so it has no effect on your photo. I tried this several times at different shutter speeds but nothing works. The iPad version of this app will not switch to landscape mode.This is very annoying as landscape mode is the only mode I would want to use this app on the iPad (because I use the smart keyboard as a stand). Many of the features just don’t seem to work very well, and are not Always reflected in by the flash units (Godox V860ii(S) and AD200 Pro). The app user interface is basic and very unattractive. Some features are not particularly well thought out. You definitely get what you pay for with Godox. Their flashes are cheap, and this app comes for free.
