I give one star reviews to apps that ask over and over and over for a review. Learn what consent is.
But just upgraded my daughter to iphone and I can't figure out how to add her new device. So I'm looking for a new app
I absolutely love the Family Link app and features. My son is now 16 and will be 17 in the spring and I’ve used Family Link Parental Controls for the last 3 years. Unfortunately since after a child turns 13 they’re able to delete the family link child restrictions I have to periodically change his birthday for his account so that I can remain in control of his settings and phone. He hates it and can’t delete or bypass it which is what makes this app so amazing. No matter how hard he tries to delete it or bypass it the restrictions are effective and I remain in full control of his devices. Automatically locks during bedtime, school and when it’s time to do homework which is extremely helpful especially since he has ADHD and struggles with distractions so this ensures that he focuses on what he’s supposed to be. I also love that the web restrictions blocks him from seeing all p*r* and I can block apps like Reddit that are inappropriate. It’s also helpful if he’s being disobedient or acting up to remote lock his phone making it a brick to punish when necessary and remind him I’m in control always.
At least Google makes their parental controls cross-platform even if Apple won't.
Awful. Parents, what if your phone was controlled and you had no privacy? You’re lazy and a bad parent if you get this for your child.
